Cherry, Amy's younger sister, had married Karl five years ago and moved in with him to his sprawling mansion. Despite their lavish lifestyle, Cherry and Karl had yet to have children, which was a source of speculation among their family and friends. Amy dropped her luggage and asked her sister, Amy, to give her a hug, as she had missed her so much. Cherry explained that she wanted to try more of a Latin look and remember Karl, don't you? Cherry explained, gesturing towards her husband, Karl.
Karl greeted Amy with a charming smile, unexpectedly kissing her hand. Amy enjoyed the gesture but her husband wasn't very amused by it. He turned her attention to Amy's husband, Leon, greeting him warmly and embracing him. Amy took the opportunity to introduce her daughter, Rossy, to Karl, who was filled with genuine warmth and excitement for their new chapter in San Francisco.
Amy and Cherry shared a moment of gossip and giggles as they followed Karl to the parking garage. As they settled into the car, Karl announced cheerfully that they would take off and they began their journey towards Amy's new home in San Francisco. As they drove, the cityscape unfolded before them, revealing the iconic sights of the city.
As Amy, Leon, Rossy, Cherry, and Karl pulled up to their new house, they couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement and anticipation. The house stood before them, a symbol of new beginnings and endless possibilities. Just then, they were greeted by familiar faces – Josh and Atika, their old friends who were now their neighbors. Leon had known Josh since they were little kids, and the bond between them was strong.
As they were about to explore their new home, the doorbell rings, announcing the arrival of the shipment team. Amy and her family are surprised to see Liam, the head of the moving company, as they are working 14 hours a day to deliver their belongings and help them get settled in. Liam apologizes for the inconvenience and assures Amy that the most important stuff is already here. He promises to bring a few small cabinets and a big three-seater couch for the living room tomorrow, hoping to alleviate some of Amy's concerns.
Leon is excited about the TV, which he has ordered for their bedroom, as he believes it will never be boring again in their bedroom. Amy is excited to see the TV in their bedroom and promises not to spend every night glued to the screen. However, Amy realizes that the boxes with their clothes are missing. She tries to find the box with her bathing stuff and lingerie, but she is left wondering where the boxes are.
Leon tries to stop Amy from walking past him angrily, but Amy's words hit him hard, and he feels a pang of guilt wash over him. He tries to explain that he meant to have sex with Amy, but Amy insists that it is not the only thing he needs him for. He feels a sense of panic rising within him, as he is also talking to Amy.
The text highlights the importance of communication and understanding in the moving process, as well as the potential for conflict and disagreements between friends and family members. By addressing the issues and providing support, the movers hope to create a more comfortable and enjoyable living environment for the family.
