Taking a few nude selfies on your phone to send out for money sounds like an easy gig, but sex work isn't quite that easy. I'm going to give you some of my own tips I use to make content!
The first sentence is a bit misleading, I'll admit. A lot of guys enjoy the on the spot simple mirror selfie. But the key to success here is to diversify! You'll want to take a lot of different kinds of photos and videos to hit every target to maximize your earnings! Some men will like those quick selfies, and others will want the very professional quality photo sets.
I'm first going to talk about equipment because I'd say it's THE most important part. Invest in a selfie stick! You can get one off amazon for like $10-$15. It will be life changing, I promise. Having something to hold your phone or camera where you need it saves you sooo much hassle.
The next most important thing: lighting. A lot of girls will tell you to invest in a ring light, and this is something I also did, and was happy with...for a time. But the thing is, most of our content isn't an up close make-up tutorial type video. I highly suggest getting a box light! I actually make content sitting in the dark with just my box light and it looks amazing. They are a little bit pricey but you can get a set of 2 off of amazon for like $75. They have more than paid for themselves since I've gotten them!
Next up: camera quality. I use my phone for 90% of my content because, let's be honest, it's easy. But if you're phone is a bit dated, it's time to upgrade. You don't need the NEWEST phone, but get one that can at least make HD videos. Guys don't tend to enjoy getting off to pixels. An HD webcam is also a nice item to have if you intend to live cam, you can find some for $100-ish on amazon as well, and again, it'll pay for itself once you're live camming or filming.
Now, we'll discuss props! While these aren't necessary by any means, it certainly does help! We're talking toys and lingerie! As a content creator, you're going to have some ruts. Some days you just won't be feeling it, and that's normal! But if you need a kick to get you going again, you'll feel super sexy and creative when you get yourself into some new lingerie! I recommend Shein if you're a baller on a budget. They have super cute, decent quality lingerie at affordable prices. I never buy clothes online because they don't tend to ever fit right, but Shein has such adjustable lingerie, and plenty styles for different body types! As for toys, of course only get what you're comfortable with, but I do recommend having a few different dildos (of varying colors), a wand vibrator, and a Lush vibrator (ESPECIALLY if you intend to cam). Other things you may want to include are nipple clamps (they have adjustable types for sensitive nipples), paddles, or ball gags.
The last subject I'll touch on is your scene setting. I have a specific room I film most of my content in, but it feels a bit boring at times, and your viewers are going to want to see you in other places than just your bathroom/bedroom to get their imaginations running wild with new scenarios. If you are like me when I first started, with very limited locations to film in, you may want to consider getting a hotel one night and making content there. Or as odd as it may seem, maybe ask a friend to borrow their home, or their private back yard. A little riskier (and I believe illegal, so do at your own risk) is to find a secluded area outside to film in. "public" content is a big seller! Keep in mind when picking your scene, to pay attention to your background! It seems a bit obvious, but PLEASE check your background. Your room doesn't need to be spotless, but it's a turn off for (most) buyers to see your dirty clothes all over your bed and floor, trash, make up supplies, anything just laying around. Do a quick clean up for anything that's in the frame.
Make sure you take breaks and are having fun with making content! If you get too stressed over it, you will wear yourself out quick. Perhaps my BEST advice for sex work over all, STOP JUDGING YOURSELF! Worried about rolls, wrinkles, pouches, stretch marks? Don't be. Your buyers will love you, they know what they are buying and they WANT IT. You are beautiful and they will tell you so over and over themselves.
