The fact that Hoddard Parchley didn’t care about the wounds he had suffered psychically showed that he knew of the pain but like salve to a physical abrasion, he could relax it all away.

He knew that with meditation he spoke of inner peace and contemplated the day when he didn’t have the problems of his mind. He wanted his time on earth to be great because that was the only time he knew. It extended to his life. He knew his wife and children would be on this earth for a finite amount of time. He made it special.
