Winter's cold clutches always seems to trap you, in the emptiness of it's Embrace.

And today's stroll shows yet another sequel to my once again idle life, as I walk on the icy grounds of our most cherished memories, the park we both shared our dreams, covered with snow; as if trying to hide any trace of our ever being together.

And with every step I take, I hear echoes, most likely from the distant honking of the cars or maybe the silent huff of the beggar at the side… but I could swear I heard your giggle, it was like the crisp nostalgia of our cherished memories, but frozen in time.

As the cold breeze of the winter solstice sets in and darkens the atmosphere, I remember the nine (9) remaining hours we spent in each other's embrace, never wanting to let go. I

I, wishing the world would stand still as the sun had, cause when you do let go, you'd be losing a friend and I, not only a friend... But myself too.

Lights out and curtains closed, that's the sentence that came to mind, cause I'd felt my life would end, as you took my heart with you.

Nature never ceases to amaze us, as the crystallized snow falls. I wish to adorn you, as pearls around your neck.

But as a constant of life, change is inevitable and as such the breaking of the summer whiles. And as ice melts.

The warm embrace of summer's warmth takes place.
