Sarah had a negative outlook on life. She was prone to always seeing the worst in each and every person. She frequently saw the glass as half-empty and never had faith that good things would come her way. Sarah had fulfilling employment, a caring family, and a network of dependable friends, but she was unable to overcome her feelings of inadequacy and anxiety about the future.
Sarah's life took a sudden turn one day. The pandemic cost her her job, and her relationship with her boyfriend ended. She was saddened and found it difficult to get back up because of her negative outlook.
One morning Sarah had a distinct feeling. She had a sense of clarity and purpose, but she wasn't sure what it was. She became more conscious of the good things in her life as she went about her day. She had a roof over her head, the sun was shining, and birds were chirping.
