When a man was bitten by a snake, the terror of one day!

On March 2, when he was bitten by a viper, he screamed loudly. So, I decided to sedate the snake with more sleeping pills so that it wouldn't make any noise the second time I let the snake bite.

The incident of killing a young woman, Uthra, who was bitten by snakes in a ritualistic manner, has shocked the country. What is shocking is that Utra's husband Suraj committed the murder. In 2018, Uthra got married to Sooraj, who hails from the Pathanamthitta district's Philadodu area. At the time of marriage, Uthra's parents gave a hefty dowry of 100 pounds of jewelry, property, and a car. They also have a 1-year-old child. In this situation, Suraj has given mental tortured to Utra, wanting to get more dowry. However, Uthra has endured everything. However, Suraj has decided to kill Utra without evidence and has planned for six months to kill her with a snake. For that, he searched on YouTube and contacted Suresh, a snake catcher from the Kalluwadakkal area. Sooraj bought a squirrel-typee snake at the end of February saying that he had a rat infestation in his house. Suresh, a snake catcher, brought the snake to Suraj's house. Not only that but, he also taught Suraj how to handle snakes.

Sooraj took the snake and made it bite Uthra on March 2. Uthra was admitted to the hospital for shouting at night. Fortunately, Uthra survived that time. After that, she stayed at her mother's house in Anjall for further treatment. Meanwhile, he paid 10,000 rupees to Suresh, a snake catcher, who claimed that his agricultural land was infested with rats and bought a black snake. He kept the snake in a plastic bottle and went to Uthra's house on the 6th. At 2.30 pm that night, he left the snake in the bottle on Uthra and bit him. Suraj stands watching the snake bite him twice. Later, he is sitting up in bed unable to sleep after confirming his death. He left home early in the morning. Later Utra's mother wakes him up and finds him dead.

It was at this stage that Utra's mother became suspicious of Suraj. He lodged a complaint with the police that he was suspicious of his daughter's death. A check on Sooraj's mobile number later revealed that he had been in frequent contact with the snake catcher, Suresh. Following this Suraj and Suresh were arrested. The court allowed both of them to be remanded in police custody till next Saturday. New information is being revealed daily in the investigation conducted against them. Doubts like why Uthra didn't scream when bitten by a snake are now answered.

In the investigation, Suraj said, ``I took a snake in a plastic bottle to Uttra's house on the 6th and also took a sleeping pill. On March 2, when he was bitten by a viper, he screamed loudly. So, the second time I let the snake bite me, I decided to sedate him with more sleeping pills so that he wouldn't make any noise. So, I mixed the sleeping pill with the milk and fruit juice and gave it twice. That's why Uthra didn't scream when the snake bit him," the police said.

The child born to Uthra and Suraj has now been handed over to Uthra's parents. Suraj has kept the jewelry given to Utra at the time of marriage in a bank locker. The police have taken steps to open the bank locker to seize the jewel.
