What's Happening Inside a Closed Hospital?

Secrets and Supernatural Occurrences Behind Closed Doors

By Sinan ÖzlekliPublished 3 years ago 4 min read

It had been months since anyone had stepped inside the old hospital. The windows were boarded up, and the doors were locked with chains and padlocks. But rumors persisted of strange noises and lights coming from within the abandoned building, and of the disappearance of several curious trespassers.

Determined to uncover the truth, a group of four friends - Alex, Max, Rachel, and Emily - decided to break into the hospital one night. They had heard that the key to the padlocks could be found in a nearby storage shed, so they made their way there first.

As they rummaged through the cluttered shed, a sudden chill filled the air. The temperature dropped so fast that their breaths became visible, and the hair on their arms stood on end. But they shook it off and found the key, making their way towards the hospital with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.

The interior of the hospital was even more eerie than they had imagined. The corridors were dimly lit, and the air was thick with dust and the smell of mold. They split up to explore different parts of the building, agreeing to meet back in the lobby in an hour.

Alex and Max headed towards the old surgical ward, hoping to find something interesting. But as they turned a corner, they heard a faint whispering sound. It was coming from a room with a broken door, where a flickering light could be seen.

As they approached, the whispering grew louder, and they could make out the words. "Help me... please... help me..." a female voice begged, over and over.

Alex and Max exchanged a look of horror and rushed inside. The room was empty, except for a flickering lightbulb and a feeling of icy coldness. They shuddered and quickly left, unable to shake the feeling that they had been watched.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Emily had made their way to the psychiatric ward. As they explored the empty rooms, they suddenly heard a loud banging sound. It seemed to be coming from behind a locked door, marked "Isolation."

Curiosity getting the better of them, they managed to pry open the door with a crowbar they found nearby. As they stepped inside, they were hit with a wave of nausea and vertigo.

The room was empty, but the walls were covered in strange symbols and markings, as if drawn in blood. The banging sound had stopped, but they heard a low, guttural growl coming from the shadows.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the darkness. It was a man, or at least, used to be. His skin was pale and flaking, his eyes were wild and bloodshot, and his clothes were torn and stained. He lunged towards them, and they barely managed to dodge out of the way.

They ran out of the room, screaming, and collided with Alex and Max in the corridor. Together, they sprinted towards the lobby, trying to put as much distance between themselves and the madman as possible.

As they reached the lobby, they saw a group of people standing there, their backs turned towards them. The people were all dressed in hospital gowns, and they seemed to be swaying to an invisible rhythm.

But as the friends got closer, they realized that the people were not alive. Their faces were twisted in grotesque expressions, their skin was discolored and rotting, and their eyes were blank and lifeless.

The friends tried to run back the way they came, but the horde of undead patients blocked their path. They were trapped, with no way out.

As the creatures closed in, a single thought filled their minds: they were going to die in this abandoned hospital.

But just as the undead patients were about to pounce, a blinding light filled the room. A figure appeared in the center of the lobby, dressed in flowing robes and holding a staff.

"Leave this place at once!" the figure commanded, their voice echoing through the halls.

The creatures hesitated for a moment, then slowly turned and shambled away. The figure turned to the friends.

"You have trespassed in a place you do not belong," they said. "But you are not beyond redemption. If you swear to never return to this hospital, I will spare your lives."

The friends nodded fervently, and the figure disappeared in a flash of light. They ran out of the hospital, not looking back until they were miles away.

As they caught their breath, they realized that they had all seen the same thing: a vision of the hospital when it was still in use, and of the horrors that had occurred within its walls. They knew that they had stumbled upon something beyond their understanding, something that should have remained hidden forever.

From that day on, they never spoke of their experience again. But they knew that they would never forget the haunting images of the abandoned hospital, and the warning of the mysterious figure who had saved their lives.
