Villain

I always thought that if I had ever gotten superpowers, I would be the greatest superhero of all time. Things have changed. I remember being ecstatic. I was a hero. I made a decision to save that man from the car crash. I had no idea that he was an alien. I also had no idea that he would bestow superpowers upon me. That alien blasted me with his glow power. That gave me the ability to shoot powerful beams of light from the palms of my hand. It also gave me the ability to fly and superhuman strength and healing.

I was no longer just Jacob Brown, now I was Superglow. I had my royal blue spandex with my bright glowing star in the middle and my yellow cape flowing in the wind. I was going to be a great superhero. That was until the line became blurred.

Here I was out here fighting the good fight. Stopping bank robberies, putting out fires, saving people. All that just to be told by heroes and villains alike that I wasn't good enough. Matter of fact I was told by Superstrike a member of the Protectors and one of my idols that superheroes weren't even real. That he only saved the world because he lived in it, and he only was a superhero for the fame and attention.

He told me that most of the stories I heard growing up about my favorite heroes was media propaganda to make them look good. He's ruined everything! He's ruined the joy I had in having powers. He's ruined the sense of worth that I had gotten from saving people. He's ruined everything that I've known and felt about Superheroes. So now I'm going to destroy them. Now I am the VILLAIN!
