Unconventional Love

Born to be Free Spirits

By Shital Ajit LondhePublished about a year ago 2 min read

In the crowded city of Istanbul, where East meets West, two souls were destined to meet each other in an unplanned way. Samaira was beautiful lady with free spirit personality and capturing beauty of nature into Canvas. She was a magical person who was always engaged into her artwork and wanted to start her own gallery in the middle of the city.

Samaira's life was a canvas of unrestrained creativity. She painted with wild strokes, her art reflecting the freedom she cherished. Her studio overlooked the Bosphorus, where the water's constant ebb and flow mirrored her own restless spirit. She believed in living life untethered, exploring the depths of her soul through her art.

Cemal, on the other hand, was a nomad, never staying in one place for long. His photography spoke of distant lands and the people he encountered. His images were raw and authentic, revealing the beauty of simplicity. Like Samaira, Cemal valued freedom above all else, finding solace in the journey rather than the destination.

Their lives intersected one fateful evening at a local art gallery. Samaira was showcasing her latest collection, vibrant landscapes of Istanbul, bathed in hues of gold and crimson.

Cemal, drawn by a flyer he'd seen in a café, wandered into the gallery, intrigued by the promise of "freedom on canvas." As he stood before one of Samaira's paintings, the colors and emotions stirred something deep within him.

Their eyes met across the room, an instant recognition of kindred spirits. Samaira approached Cemal, curious about the man who seemed so captivated by her work. They struck up a conversation, effortlessly flowing from art to travel, and from philosophy to dreams. It was as if they had known each other for lifetimes, their souls dancing to a rhythm that only they could hear.

As the evening wore on, they found themselves drawn to the gallery's rooftop, where the city lights twinkled like stars. There, under the vast expanse of the night sky, they spoke of their dreams and fears, of their love for freedom and their yearning for connection. It was in that silent, shared space that they realized they were more than just wanderers—they were seekers, searching for a deeper meaning in the chaos of life.

In the days that followed, Samaira and Cemal spent more time together, exploring the city's hidden corners, sharing stories of their past adventures, and dreaming of future escapades. They reveled in each other's company, finding a unique harmony between their independent spirits. It was a bond that transcended mere attraction; it was a cosmic alignment of souls.

Yet, for all their similarities, there was an unspoken tension—a fear that their love would bind them, clipping the wings they so cherished. They were free spirits, after all, not meant to be tethered by the conventional ties of society. But love, as they discovered, does not seek to cage; it seeks to set free.

One night, as they walked along the Bosphorus, Cemal turned to Samaira, his eyes reflecting the moonlight. "We are like the sea and the sky," he said, "separate yet always connected. We can love deeply without losing our essence."
