The Wolf Witch - 3. Oliver's Night Out
Chapter Three

Oliver put on his jacket and walked out of his flat with two mates. They'd had a few beers, ate steak for dinner, and were eager to get out to a nightclub to meet some girls or rather that was their idea. Oliver wanted to drink and that was it.
It took them ten minutes to get into town. When they arrived Oliver sat at the bar having a couple of shots with his mates. Afterward, the other two went off onto the dance floor. It was packed. The music was heavy and loud. He'd been recommended this club by other werewolf pack members,
He was about to get up when he saw a familiar face. It was his neighbour, Becky. She was on the dance floor with some dense-looking guy. He could see her head bobbing up and down to the music. He watched her whilst he had one more drink. She didn't seem to be having such a good time. She wasn't smiling. Her expression was cold. He sensed from her movement that she seemed bored. He wanted to go over there and take her away from this man and he was all set to do it but then had second thoughts. She was his neighbour and he was new to the neighbourhood, so he didn't want to come off as a guy who ran after any girl he saw.
Instead, he just put his jacket on and went to the back of the club. It was time to go downstairs and watch the fight. It was an illegal game but he enjoyed them and he frequently made bets on who would win. He'd been to others back when he’d lived with Freda. It was something he'd enjoyed. He never participated even though he had much more strength than some here.
As he stood there watching, he thought of Becky and smiled. He wanted to see her again. So, he went back upstairs. He could hear the loud music. It was deafening. He couldn't even see his mates anywhere. They must have left. They did that if they found someone to go home with.
He looked at the dance floor but she wasn't anywhere to be seen. Nor was she at the bar. Oh well. She probably left, so he decided to go home but when he turned to walk toward the entrance, he saw the outline of her silky peach dress as the disco lights flashed upon her. She was struggling while the guy she was with swung her around quickly and pushed her against the wall. Oliver saw the guy's right hand raise her dress but didn't wait for anything further so he rushed over, pulled the guy off Becky, and threw him harshly to one side.
The guy ran away, leaving Becky standing there alone. Oliver could see she was shaking.
"Becky... are you okay?"
"Hi... um... sorry. I feel sick. Oh... no... gotta go to the ladies, see you in..."
She couldn't finish her words as her right hand went to her mouth and suddenly, she shot away, running off the dance floor. He followed her. She went into the Ladies' room, so he waited outside but she was ages. He wondered if he'd missed her, especially earlier when a crowd of women went inside.
A woman walked out of the ladies, so he stopped her.

"Excuse me... is there a girl in there with a peach silk dress and long dark hair?"
"There's no one like that in there... sorry."
The girl walked away shaking her head. Oliver went back to the dance area. She wasn't there nor was she at the bar.
He felt wound up and realised she must have left, so he did too. When he reached his building, he looked upward. He wondered if she was in her flat but he couldn't see any of her lights on. It was dark.
He wanted to see if she was alright but decided against it. She was just a neighbour after all and didn't want to create a big thing out of it. She was probably fast asleep in bed right now and realised he would be waking her up if he knocked on her door. He also knew she must be embarrassed and if she had to explain it to him, it would be worse.
Yes. It was best that he see her tomorrow!
He opened his front door and went inside. Heading straight for his bed, he plonked onto it and fell asleep with a smile, dreaming of his werewolf self licking Becky's cheeks and turning back into his nakedness whilst still on top of her.
