Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Akbar, there was a clever thief named Raju. Raju was known for his skillful robberies and had managed to evade the law for many years. However, one day, his luck ran out, and he was caught by the guards while stealing from the royal treasury and taken in to the court of Akbar.

The king, Akbar, was known for his wisdom and justice, and he decided to give Raju a chance to redeem himself. He called upon his trusted advisor, Birbal, and asked him to devise a test for the thief.

Birbal, who was known for his sharp wit and intelligence, came up with a plan. He told the king that he would give Raju a bag of seeds and ask him to plant them. The following day, Birbal would inspect the seeds and determine whether or not they had been planted.

The king agreed to the plan, and Raju was given the bag of seeds. He went to a nearby field and scattered the seeds on the ground. The following day, Birbal arrived and inspected the field.

To his surprise, Birbal found that the seeds had not been planted at all. Instead, Raju had scattered the seeds on the ground and then covered them with a layer of dirt to make it appear as though he had planted them.

Birbal was impressed with the thief's cleverness and decided to give him another chance. He told the king that he would give Raju a second task. He would ask him to grow a pumpkin, but the catch was that the pumpkin had to be grown inside a glass jar.

Raju was puzzled by the task but decided to give it his best shot. He obtained a small glass jar and planted the seed inside it. He watered the seed regularly and watched as the pumpkin grew bigger and bigger.

The following day, Birbal arrived to inspect the pumpkin. To his amazement, he found that Raju had managed to grow a large pumpkin inside the small glass jar. The pumpkin had grown in such a way that it had taken the shape of the jar, but it had not broken through the glass.

Birbal was once again impressed with Raju's ingenuity and decided to give him a final task. He would ask him to steal a gold coin from the king's treasury without being caught.

Raju was skeptical of the task, but he agreed to give it a try. He carefully planned his heist and managed to sneak into the treasury undetected. However, as he was about to grab a gold coin, he was caught by the guards.

Raju was brought before the king, who was disappointed that the thief had failed the test. However, Birbal spoke up and defended Raju, saying that he had managed to complete the first two tasks successfully and that he had shown great skill and intelligence.

The king was impressed by Birbal's words and decided to pardon Raju. He offered him a job at the palace, where he could use his skills for the good of the kingdom.

Raju was grateful for the opportunity and became a loyal servant of the king. He worked hard and used his cleverness to solve many problems and help the people of the kingdom.

From that day forward, Raju was known as a wise and clever man, and his story became a legend in the kingdom of Akbar. And Birbal, with his wisdom and intelligence, continued to serve the king and help the people of the kingdom for many years to come.
