The Wine-Bearer Fairy
A Micro-fiction Toast to the Wine Fairy!
She always knows what I need; a simple glass to relax.
We giggle together as the edges fade out; a drunken comradery between us.
I raise my glass in another toast, but the wine fairy falls in it! I fish her out carefully before we burst into another round of fits; we're drunk as drunk can be!
We top off another gleefully, never minding my neighbors' crusty looks. What have we done wrong? Have some fun?
But then our bitterness wanes; there's more than enough for all! We take turns serving the neighborhood!
Suddenly now all is well!
A toast!
