Mina soons learns that they have some rules to be followed in forest for them to stay alive. As night falls, a chilling truth emerges: these creatures study the human by absorbing their civilization and these unseen creatures stalk their prey at night when humans tend break the rules of the forest. The film then foils with how these 4 trapped strangers escape out of the forest tricking these unknown creatures later reveled as fairies.

Ishana night Shyamalan, clearly inheriting her father's track for suspense and the supernatural, masterfully crafts a chilling atmosphere. The film masterfully builds tension, drawing upon the eerie isolation of the remote location and the growing paranoia amongst the trapped individuals.
