The wanted parrot

a parrot on the run

By Hamza GhaziPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

There was was a lovely and wise parrot named Polly who lived in a deep forest. Polly could speak like a person, which made her a unique parrot. When Polly started speaking, the other animals in the forest were astounded and curious.

A collection of animals came around Polly one day, anxious to hear her speak, including a curious deer, a mischievous squirrel, and an elderly owl. Polly told them about her trips around the globe and the people she met along the way who had taught her to talk.

Because of how the other animals responded to her tales, Polly quickly gained notoriety in the forest. Her companions would enjoy her stories and humor while she spent her days perched on a towering tree

As the days passed, Polly became more and more enmeshed in the lives of the creatures in her immediate surroundings. When they encountered issues, she would assist them in finding solutions and provide guidance. She developed into a vital member of the forest's populace, and everyone adored her.

Polly, however, got a message from some humans who intended to take her out of the forest and place her in a zoo one day. Polly was terrified and didn't want to leave her pals in the forest, but she was aware that she needed to take precautions for her own safety.

She assembled every animal in the forest, and together they devised a strategy to keep Polly safe. The creatures positioned traps and concealed Polly in the heart of the forest, far from sight.

When the humans arrived but were unable to locate Polly, they soon gave up and fled. Polly was grateful to all of her animal pals for their support and assistance in keeping her safe.

After escaping from the humans, Polly knew she couldn't stay in the same place for too long. She feared they might come back and try to capture her again. She decided to leave her comfortable life in the forest and venture out into the unknown.

At first, Polly had a difficult time adjusting to life on the move. She missed her friends in the forest, but she knew she had to keep moving to stay safe. Luckily, she met other animals on her journey who were willing to help her out.

The first animal she met was a wise old owl who gave her advice on how to stay hidden and avoid detection. He told her to be careful and always stay alert. The next animal was a pack of wolves who offered to travel with her and protect her on her journey. Polly was grateful for their help and she knew that she couldn't have made it without them.

Together, they traveled through the forest and across the fields. Polly learned a lot from her new friends and they taught her how to hunt for food and how to navigate through unfamiliar territory. They even taught her some new words in their own animal languages.

Eventually, Polly and her new friends reached a safe haven deep in the woods, far away from the humans who had threatened her before. Here, she was able to start a new life and make new friends. She was happy once again and grateful for the animals who had helped her along the way.

Although she missed her old friends in the forest, she knew that she had made new friends who would always be there for her. Polly was thankful for her ability to talk and for the animals who had shown her that even though she was different, she was still a part of their world.
