The Untold Mysteries of the Midnight Forest

Midnight Forest is a large area at the outskirts of Willowbrook, dim with only tall trees and mystery in the air. There are lots of mythological beliefs; people from the region did not go out into the forest after it got dark as they always reported hearing strange sounds and observing bright lights moving in the horizon. Several myths depict a dweller possessing an inner sanctum; a treasure that no man is willing to risk his life to try and grab.

As soon as I first heard these stories, I became very interested. Were these mere fables of the grandmas or were these stories based on facts? With only a flash light and curiosity in hand, I chose to explore and discover it on my own. The moment when I crossed the meeting point of the leaves a strange silence enveloped me. It took time to progress, the noises of the forest ceased and all turned quieter, as if frozen in time.

It was not a face, not a figure, not even a scent, but something which it was not exceeding beyond it; that I found that night which has been haunting me since then. The Midnight Forest does a good job in preserving its enigmas and, as with much of life, there are things better left unknown.
