The Unexpected

It was the morning of Chicago during the modern time, a girl named Mary wakes up from her seat and notices she’s on a train that is trailing quickly and continues pick up speed as it goes, she looks around and sees all the seats are empty. She doesn’t have any recollection of how she ended up there or where she is going, all she knows is she’s on a train by herself. She gets up from her seat and walks in front of the train car and sees that someone is operating the locomotive. So many questions start flooding her mind of how she got there and where she is, and where she is going. Everything is a mystery, until suddenly the lights start flickering, she gets an epiphany of an event just last night while she was on the train. She was strapped to a chair where men surrounding her were injecting with syringe needles. A light was flickering at that time realizing those were one of the fragments of a memory that happened just last night.

Mary looked out of the window and started seeing two siren cars following the train that keeps building speed continuously. She senses something is amiss, soon she sees more siren police cars start to build up more behind the initial trail from the first two. As she looks out the window the train is about to head into a tunnel as it passes through everything blacks out. Mary suddenly realizes she was standing next to her father who is the governor of the state of Chicago giving a speech, until suddenly she was knocked unconscious and fell and someone took her and held her in their arms and ran. She now realizes she’s been abducted, drugged, hijacked a running train and the kidnappers want ransom.

Little did they know that Mary is a trained martial artist with high skill marksmanship. As the train gets out of the tunnel Mary gets closer to the conductor operating the train, and quickly disarms the guard and puts him on a chokehold. The other guard next to him quickly reacts and aims a gun at her, she rolls over and kicks the gun out of his hands, she aims the gun she disarmed from the first guard and shoots him in the face. As the train rails across a bridge, the rails suddenly explode and the train will then likely crash and fall into the ocean. Mary sees there’s an emergency fire exit on top of the train and kicks it open. She quickly climbs out, she feels a hand clenching tight of her ankle, and trying to bring her down, she sees it was one of the guards she disarmed. The train is quickly reaching for the exploded rail, on top there is a helicopter that dropped a ladder for her to climb up, she doesn’t have enough time to fight the guard off and then jump out and reach for the ladder. She only gets one shot to make that time interval, As he wants to bring her down, she takes out a pocket knife and stabs him in the throat and kicks him the face, she jumps up quickly as she can and exits the train on top. The train is now falling into the ocean and Mary runs as quickly as she can towards the opposite direction while the train crashes below the surface of the ocean. She sees she’s getting closer to the ladder but can she make it? She jumps for her life and as she is suspended in the air, she drops, the people in helicopter look around and just barely hanging on with one hand it’s Mary. She slowly climbs up the ladder and makes it inside safely and returns to her father.
