The Truth Behind the Blindness: A Test of Loyalty

"A man uncovers his relatives' true intentions after years of pretending to be blind

By Tamer salehPublished about a year ago 1 min read

There was a man named Khaled, who lived in a small village, where he was known to be blind from a young age. Everyone believed he couldn’t see, treating him with care and respect, as he depended on others for his daily life. His relatives were always around, offering support, but over time, Khaled began to doubt their true intentions.

Although Khaled pretended to be blind, he could actually see everything. He had long decided to test his relatives to see if they were genuinely loyal to him or merely pretending because of his supposed condition. He watched them from afar while they believed he couldn’t see them.

As the days passed, Khaled noticed their actions and behaviors when they thought he wasn’t watching. He discovered that some spoke ill of him behind his back and conspired to claim his inheritance, thinking he was unaware. Others, however, cared for him sincerely, without expecting anything in return.

When the day came for Khaled to reveal the truth, he gathered his relatives and told them he had been able to see the whole time. The shock was evident on their faces. Some tried to defend themselves, while others felt ashamed and regretful. In the end, Khaled learned who truly stood by his side and who was only seeking personal gain.
