With the thought of what Prince Damien had said I couldn't help but think maybe he could be right about me giving him a chance with our lives. Something was telling me that there could be something between Damien and I. Once he left the balcony and left me to my thoughts, that's when I was startled by Eric.
"Eric! Did you hear everything he said," I asked.
Eric walked towards me but kept looking at the doorway to make sure I was alone. I wasn't sure if walking up to him was going to be to much for him to handle since I wasn't sure if he was watching the wedding. I was scared to think that he was going to leave me and say he didn't want me anymore, but of course I was expecting the worse. I couldn't say that this was going to be easy because the fact was my heart was in love with Eric, or was it?
"Eric can you say something, please," I asked.
Waiting for him to answer it was very tiring so I took it upon my self and sure enough I wasn't expecting to say this to him.
"Eric I know you have a lot on your mind but I can't wait forever. Besides Since you were standing there in the shadow, I must say you must've heard what Prince Damien had said to me. I will give him a chance if you can't answer me right now," I replied to him confidently as I walked back to the reception.
While I was walking back I couldn't help but feel that he wasn't going to stop me at all. So that's when I began to walk faster and try to hide my tears that came streaming down. Before I could walk into the hall, that's when I heard someone walking by, that's when I popped into one of the rooms I came across.
I walked more into the room to see if I could recognized what was in there. Then I realized that I bumped into something that felt like a person. I wasn't to sure what or who it was but at that moment I was a little frightened on who it could be. My heart began to race because it had felt like when I was a child but now that I'm older I feel like I shouldn't be here. As light began to show the face who I bumped into I wasn't sure if I was ready.
"Princess Arabella, I'm sorry I saw you crying and didn't want to bother you. I just didn't expect you to jump into this room."
As tears kept coming down, I was still surprised but I felt like I knew that voice, as if I just heard it few hours ago. Once I looked up that's when I saw those bright blue eyes, Prince Damien.
When I looked up at him I wasn't sure what to but my body reacted and went right away to hugged him so tightly. Before I knew it he was hugging me back tightly as well.
"Thank you for being here for me, even though you were just nearby, by accident," I said with my face being so red.
I could see that he smiled as he was wiping my tears away, "Arabella I know that you are hurting but I want you to know that I am you r husband and you can talk to me about anything. If you are open with me, I will do the same. I know we both like what we have to say but that will make our bond stronger."
We sat there in the room for a while before we actually head back to the party. We both walked in while Damien was holding my hand and holding very tightly as if he didn't want me to leave his side. Before I could say something to him, that's when I see both our fathers walking towards us.
Prince Damien father smiles cheek to cheek, "Well did you kids get on with an early honeymoon?"
I began to blushed bright red, but before I could even say anything that's when I heard Prince Damien, "No father not yet. Princess Arabella and I were in her room and she was showing me what she wanted our guards to take from her bedroom while we are on our honeymoon."
I smiled and in my heart I felt at peace because Prince Damien was watching out for me. Maybe there is something that can happen between Prince Damien and I. But before I realized I had saw that Eric walked into the room with a woman by his side that I never seen before. So of course, I grabbed Prince Damien face and kissed him so passionately that we both looked at each other in amazement.
