The Thorn in My Heart

Sometimes the deepest pains hide in places we cannot see

"The thorn wasn't on her skin, but in her heart. A story about the burdens we hide. ✨ Read now!

Since her university days, Sippa had a mark on her skin that bothered her. It wasn't exactly on her side, but a bit more toward her back—a place she couldn't see with her own eyes. Every nurse would say, "Don't worry, it's just a normal mole."

Days passed, and Sippa began to feel that this "thorn" was more than just a physical mark. To her, it resembled those hidden burdens that everyone carries, yet no one takes seriously.

One day during a medical check-up, a specialist doctor examined the mark on Sippa's back. She took out her magnifying glass and observed it carefully. "Sippa, did you know this mark can tell the true story of your body?"

The doctor explained what lay beneath the skin—a small cyst that had collected all of Sippa's stress, sadness, and disappointments. "This is the thorn in your heart," she said.

During the treatment, when the doctor opened the cyst, Sippa felt a strange sense of relief. It was like being freed from a prison. Along with the physical treatment, she learned to manage her emotional burdens.

Today, Sippa has accepted that mark as part of her identity. She understands that some "thorns" need to be removed, while others become symbols of our strength.
