The Tarot Reader Who Predicted World War 3

The night was quiet, the kind of quiet that makes every small sound feel important. In a dimly lit room a tarot reader sat at her wooden table, a single candle glowing beside a worn deck of cards. The flame moved gently whenever the wind brushed against the window. Her cat rested near the cards, watching the room with calm yellow eyes.

She had been reading tarot for many years. People came to her with many different questions. Some wanted to know about love, some asked about money or work, and others simply wanted reassurance that life would turn out well. She never claimed that tarot could control the future. The cards only revealed possibilities, small glimpses into paths that might unfold. But that evening felt different.

Even before the cards were touched there was a strange heaviness in the air. The tarot reader shuffled the deck slowly, letting the cards slide through her fingers with practiced ease. The soft sound of paper brushing paper filled the quiet room while the candle flame flickered beside her. Then there was a knock at the door.Three careful taps.

A woman stepped inside. Her face carried worry, the kind that comes from sleepless nights and troubled thoughts. She sat across the table but her eyes stayed fixed on the tarot cards. Her question was unusual.

She did not ask about her life, or her future, or someone she loved. Instead she asked about the world.

The tarot reader paused for a moment before beginning the reading. Questions about the future of the world are not simple things, even for someone who understands the language of the cards. Still, she shuffled the deck again and laid the cards down one by one across the wooden table.

The first card appeared. The Tower.

The tarot reader felt a small chill run through her body as she looked at the image. In tarot the Tower represents sudden destruction, powerful change, and the collapse of things that once seemed strong and unbreakable. It is a warning card, often arriving when something hidden is about to break apart. She placed the second card beside it. Five of Swords This card speaks of conflict, struggle, and victory that comes at a painful cost.

The candle flame trembled slightly as she turned the final card. Judgement. A card that represents awakening and reckoning, the moment when the world must face the results of its own actions.

For several seconds the tarot reader simply studied the spread in silence. Her cat lifted its head and watched the cards as though sensing the seriousness of the moment. The woman sitting across from her leaned forward slightly.

“What does it mean?” she asked quietly. The tarot reader chose her words carefully.“These cards do not speak about one person,” she explained softly. “They speak about nations and large forces moving against each other.” The woman’s expression grew tense.“You mean war?” The tarot reader hesitated. Tarot never gives absolute answers, but sometimes the meaning of a spread becomes very difficult to ignore.“Yes,” she said slowly.

“These cards suggest rising tension between powerful countries. Something sudden could happen, something that breaks the fragile balance that still exists. If that happens, conflict could spread very quickly.”Silence filled the room. The woman stared at the cards, her eyes wide with unease.“Can it be stopped?” she asked. The tarot reader rested her hand gently beside the spread. “The future is never completely fixed,” she said. “The cards show warnings, not destiny. People still have choices.”

After a few moments the woman stood and quietly left the room. The tarot reader gathered the cards and returned them to their worn box. The candle had burned low, leaving only a soft glow across the table the cat climbed closer and curled beside the empty space where the cards had been.

Outside, the wind brushed softly against the window, and the tarot reader could not help wondering if somewhere in the world the first small cracks in that Tower had already begun.

The next day it was announced on television that World War 3 may have already started and might be impossible to stop. News reporters spoke with tense voices while maps and warnings filled the screen. Across the world people watched in silence, hardly believing what they were hearing.

Now the world sits in a strange limbo, holding its breath. Nations wait, leaders argue, and ordinary people look to the sky and wonder what tomorrow will bring. In homes, churches, mosques, temples, and quiet rooms everywhere, people pray to their own God for peace. At this stage maybe it is unstoppable. Who knows.
