The Supers pt1

[Alarm sounds]

Tasha: come on! I just feel asleep. A few more minutes won't hurt.

Rebecca: finally, the sun is up. [She makes a cup of coffee and relaxes on the porch] It feels so nice out here. [Alex comes out with his skateboard in hand] Rebecca: don't you think it's too early for that. I'm pretty sure the neighbors aren't up yet. Alex: oh, I'll go to the park then.

Rebecca: no, wait for your sisters to get up so they can go with you. Alex: I'm going to wake them up. [He proceeds to wake them both up] Tasha: what do you want!! Alex: i wanted to know if you wanted to go to the skate park? Before it gets too hot. Rebecca: hell yeah. Let me find something to wear.

Sarah: I'll come too. Plus i wanted to see if we could get mom to bbq and have a bonfire in the desert.

Alex: okay, we can brainstorm while we're out.

[They talk about it all morning and decide it would be best for Sarah to ask, she almost always gets what she asks for. Mom's trying to make up for the way dad treated her after they divorced] Sarah:Mom! I was thinking, maybe we could all go camping in the desert and have a bonfire and grill? [Rebecca ponders on it for a bit] Rebecca:Sure. I have to get us a few essentials first though. [They finaly find the perfect spot. Between the highway and a cliffside] Rebecca:We need to make sure we have everything set up by sundown. So let's get moving. [Everything seems to be going great. The grill is going, music is playing and the fire is lit. Alex has his camera, recording the night] Tasha:look, a shooting star! [Everyone gasps collectively]... Alex:Wait...i don't think that's a shooting star. It's changed course, it's coming straight at us now. [Rebecca instantly goes into mom mode]Rebecca: oh shit...guys...RUN! [As they run Sarah looks back and realizes that the meteorite has landed directly into the fire. Thankfully for some unknown reason it didn't hit very hard. In fact the fire is still burning, just a little weird looking] Tasha: holy shit, check it out. Why's the fire purple? Rebecca:I don't know but we need to get out of here. Tasha, go with your brother and get the water from the car and put out that damn fire. Sarah and i are going to pack up our stuff. [Everyone is so freaked out that nobody noticed when Tasha took the meteorite from the extinguished fire and they head home none the wiser] [everyone in the house are haunted by nightmares as they sleep] Rebecca: what the fuck kind of dream was that? I'm freaking starving. I guess I'll make breakfast today. [The rest of the family slowly makes their way to the kitchen, awakened by the smell of breakfast] Rebecca:Are you guys okay? Did you not get enough sleep? Cause y'all look worn out. All:no. [One by one they start to talk about how they all had such terrible nightmares that they feel like they haven't slept in days] Tasha:I dreamt that someone or something was chasing me through the desert. There was a weird purple smoke behind me so i couldn't see what was chasing me. Alex: i had almost the same dream except i was at the skate park. Sarah: me too, but i was in the backyard. [Rebecca just sits there with her mouth agape for a moment] Tasha:Mom...what's wrong? Rebecca: i had that dream too, only difference is i was inside the house. That's strange. [Little did they know, it wasn't 100% a dream] Rebecca: I'm going back to sleep, i feel like all of my energy has been sucked out of me with a syringe. Sarah: I'll do the dishes for you mom. Rebecca: Thank you sweetie. [Rebecca heads up to her room and sleep comes almost immediately. Tasha:hey Alex do you want to play the xbox with me? I just bought a new game. Alex: sure, i really don't want to go back to sleep. [After Sarah is done with the dishes she decides to paint a picture of her dream. Sarah: let's see...purple, black and maybe some golden glitter should be perfect. Oh, i should open the green as well. Gotta make sure i add grass.[before they even realize, Tasha and Alex both fall asleep on the couch][Sarah takes her finished painting to Rebecca's room and goes to watch her brother and sister playing a game but she finds them asleep. She decided that she might as well go take a nap too] [Rebecca is the first to awake. She notices Sarah's painting and a little bolt of fear shot through her. It looks a little too much like her dream. When she goes downstairs she notices that the door is wide open] Rebecca:what the hell, why's the door open? Tasha! Alex! Sarah! Why is this damn door open? [ they all shrug in confusion] Rebecca: i have to go check the cameras. [What she can see on the screen makes no sense] Rebecca: what? Why the hell did we just walk out of the house? Wtf. Where did we go? Do you guys remember leaving the house? All: no. Tasha: i had another strange dream though. This times we were all together . We were flying but it felt like i was falling. [As they all stand there in confusion, they hear something break in Tasha's bedroom.
