Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom, there was a great and powerful king named Amos. King Amos was known throughout the land for his wisdom, his strength, and his kind heart. He was beloved by all who knew him, from the wealthiest nobleman to the lowliest peasant.

But there was one thing that King Amos desired above all else: a son. He and his wife, Queen Adela, had been married for many years, but they had yet to have a child. The king prayed to the gods every day, asking for a son to carry on his legacy and rule the kingdom after him.

One day, while the king was out hunting in the forest, he came across a beautiful young woman. She had skin as white as snow, hair as black as night, and eyes that sparkled like the stars. The king was immediately smitten, and he asked the woman if she would be his queen.

The woman smiled and replied, "I will be your queen, but only if you promise me one thing. If we have a son, you must give him to me on his sixteenth birthday."

The king was taken aback by the woman's request, but he was so in love with her that he agreed. They were married in a grand ceremony, and soon after, Queen Adela gave birth to a son. The king was overjoyed, and he named the boy Prince Julian.

Years went by, and Prince Julian grew up to be a strong and handsome young man. He was beloved by all who knew him, just like his father. But on the eve of his sixteenth birthday, the queen approached the king with a demand.

"Amos," she said, "you promised me our son on his sixteenth birthday. I have come to claim him."

The king was distraught. He had forgotten about the promise he had made to his wife all those years ago. But he knew that he could not break his word. He called for Prince Julian and told him the news.

The prince was shocked and confused. He did not want to leave his family, his friends, and his kingdom. But he knew that he had no choice. He hugged his parents goodbye and set out into the world, following the queen into the forest.

For many days, Prince Julian journeyed through the woods, led by the queen. He saw things that he had never imagined before: talking animals, magic spells, and enchanted forests. He was fascinated by the wonders that he saw, but he also missed his home and his family.

Finally, they arrived at a great castle. The queen led Prince Julian inside and showed him to a room at the top of the tower. "This will be your room," she said. "You may roam the castle and the grounds as you please, but you must never leave the castle walls."

The prince was confused. Why was he being kept prisoner in this castle? He asked the queen, but she refused to answer his questions. For years, he lived in the castle, never leaving its walls, never seeing anyone except the queen and her servants.

As time went on, the prince grew more and more despondent. He missed his family and his home. He longed to be free, to see the world beyond the castle walls. One day, he decided that he could take it no longer. He would escape.

He spent weeks planning his escape, studying the castle's layout and the routines of the queen and her servants. Finally, he found his chance. He slipped out of his room one night and made his way to the castle's gate. To his surprise, the gate was unlocked. He opened it and stepped outside.

The world beyond the castle walls was unlike anything he had ever seen.
