Judaai: The story of an incomplete love
When love clashes with reality, many times it results in separation. This story is also about two such souls, whose love was boundless, but fate separated them. This is not just a love story, but a story of sacrifice, pain and endless waiting.
The story begins in the narrow lanes of Delhi, where there was less light but the fragrance of love was everywhere. Ayush and Siya, two people from two different worlds, whom fate brought together at a crossroad.
Ayush was from a middle-class family, who dreamt of building his dream world even amidst his struggles. On the other hand, Siya was a girl from a rich family, who had every happiness of the world, but there was an emptiness in the heart, which no one could fill.
The two met on the very first day of college. Books scattered, eyes met, and time stopped there. The conflict that was there at first sight, slowly turned into friendship and then… love.
Siya started liking Ayush's simplicity and honesty, and Siya's laughter and liveliness brightened Ayush's world. Both of them would sit together for hours, dreaming, talking about life.
But every love story has a test, and here the test was of the family. Siya's family did not like Ayush. An ordinary boy was not worthy of their respect and status. Siya tried a lot but her family members flatly refused and said that if you keep a relationship with Ayush now, we will understand that we do not have a daughter.
Siya and Ayush wanted to fight for their love, but the shackles of society tied them. Siya told Ayush that for the sake of their love, she is ready to rebel against the family. But Ayush thought that Siya's happiness lies in his family, after all the family has given her so much love and social status. What else could he give Siya except love right now? It would take time for her to gain status on her own. So he decided to step back.
One night, Ayush called Siya to meet him. He said with trembling lips, "Maybe, our love is not made for this world. I want to save you from the pain that you will get by being separated from your loved ones."
Siya had tears in her eyes, but she knew that Ayush was right. She said goodbye to Ayush with a heavy heart.
Years passed, but the love did not end. Siya got married, but a corner of Ayush's memories always remained alive in her heart. Sometimes in loneliness, a pang of love would arise and tears would flow from her eyes.
Ayush immersed himself in work, but whenever he saw a smile like Siya's in a crowd, his heart would tremble. Memories of Siya often troubled him. But he also knew that if he had held Sia's hand that day, then perhaps Sia would have been with him today.
Years later, both of them met again suddenly at a railway station. Time had changed a lot, but the love in their eyes was still the same. The same love which was always there.
Sia asked tremblingly, "How are you?" Ayush smiled, "I am just living, with the help of your memories." I too have not been able to stay away from you till now, often your thoughts shake me. But now I cannot come to you even if I want to, Ayush. I understand Sia, now you have a family. This was all that we were together in this life. Sia turned her face to the other side. Today again a teardrop fell from her eyes. Then the train came, and Sia left… forever.
Ayush stood there, reliving the separation which he himself had chosen. Now her eyes were also wet, expressing her lost love.
Sometimes, love is not in getting someone, but in leaving them for their happiness. This story was also of such a love, which remained immortal even in separation.
"I loved you so much that I could not express it,
My whole life passed by without being able to love anyone,
When you asked for it, you asked for separation,
And I was the one who could not refuse you."
