The Silent City

"A Journey to Restore the Lost Voices of a Forgotten World"

By Henry TheodorePublished about a year ago 1 min read

There is a city where no one speaks, where the sound of a human voice has been lost for centuries. The people communicate through gestures, expressions, and written words, but their voices have been taken from them vanished in the wake of an ancient curse. The city's name is a whisper, rarely spoken, for fear it might summon the forgotten entity that cast the spell.

Lena, a young artist, has always wondered about the origins of the curse. She has grown up in the silent city, where her only means of communication are the paintings she creates beautiful, vivid depictions of the world outside. But one day, Lena finds an old, tattered journal in the city’s abandoned library, filled with strange symbols and cryptic drawings that seem oddly familiar. As she delves deeper into the journal’s contents, she uncovers a story of betrayal, forbidden magic, and a pact made with a being known only as "The Voice Eater."

Determined to break the curse, Lena embarks on a journey to find the lost sound of the city. She discovers that the key to breaking the curse is not only in the journal but also in her own forgotten past one that ties her to the very entity that took the voices away.

As Lena travels through forgotten places, she must confront the haunting question: Can silence truly be broken, or will the city's secret remain locked forever? The closer she gets to the truth, the more she realizes that the curse may be tied to her own identity and the one voice she’s been too afraid to hear: her own.

Wow! This story is incredible... ✨❤ I wonder how dead and terrific a city it would be... A silent one. I can't imagine the world being silent for a single moment... Lena's journey is quite hard... As the closer she gets... It gets complicated for her... You made me see another great imagery of life and now I feel blessed to live in a place that's not that QUIET.
