He smirked triumphantly, amused by the fear visible in their faces.

"Don't come any closer," Cas warned him, his voice laced with anger and pain. "Why would I?" the man drawled, crossing his arms across his chest and smirking "Would you be mad if I showed you your worst nightmare?'

He chuckled darkly as all four of them backed away, away from him.

"Come on guys, please..."

Jack called out after them. "Look, just stay calm. I am only trying to help, alright? I know you're worried, you're not the only one who has been affected, you know."

"I've heard that before," Cas snapped bitterly.

"I can fix your headaches," Jack tried persuading him again.

"Shut up, Jack!" Cas snapped at him furiously. "I don't want your help. You are nothing but a psychopath and I'm done with your shit!"

Jack clenched his jaw tightly and glared at him. "You want answers? You're gonna get them!" Jack spat out.

"Fine!" Cas snapped angrily, turning around and facing away from him. "I already know my fate; I don't need yours."

Cas started walking away with Sam following close behind him. As soon as they

reached the car, Alex quickly climbed inside while Dean remained silent. Cas didn't bother to look at Jack and just sat inside the driver's seat, starting the engine and driving away.

The two boys reached home shortly after their conversation ended. Once they entered the house, they heard Cas' voice echoing throughout the hallway, and they assumed that he was probably angry about something.

"Cas!" Dean called out as he approached his brother. "What's wrong?"

Cas let out a heavy sigh and ran his hands through his hair before replying. "I...I think Jack came back."

Sam paused and tilted his head slightly as he studied his older brother for a moment.

"What makes you think that?" he asked cautiously.

Cas rubbed his arm awkwardly and looked away. After a moment of silence, he spoke in a soft tone. "When Jack showed up at the hospital...his words...they reminded me of Gabriel. He called himself...my best friend."

Dean winced as his memories started flashing through his mind. He knew exactly why Cas felt uncomfortable talking about Gabriel.

"I don't think Gabriel was a good person," he mumbled, glancing at the ground and rubbing the back of his neck.

Dean didn't like the idea of Cas thinking badly of someone who was once close to him. It had been obvious that Gabriel loved Cas more than anyone else in

the world and Dean knew that if anything ever happened to Gabriel that Cas would break into tears. If he had to guess, though, Dean would say that Gabriel may have been responsible for their father's death, and he hated himself for even thinking such a thing about his little brother's best friend. However, despite how much of a horrible person he could be, Gabriel cared deeply for Cas, and Dean hoped that Cas would be able to move past the guilt Gabriel caused him.

Cas muttered sadly, "Why did he do it?". Before Jack could mention that some people have died too, Cas continued, "At least three people are dead and I believe that those three men are related to Gabriel somehow."

Dean sighed and looked over at his brother with a sympathetic gaze. Sam nodded slightly, seeming to understand what Dean was trying to tell him, and they both walked upstairs into their rooms.

As Sam stepped into his room, he noticed a strange black box lying on his bedside table. Sam walked towards it carefully and took it into his hands, inspecting the object curiously. As he turned it over in his hands, however, he realized something strange: there was a note written inside.

Sam looked down at the piece of paper in his hands and let out a breathless laugh. What did Gabriel mean when he said that Cas and Dean wouldn't realize that the black box was a trap until too late? That was a stupid statement! If this was a trap, Gabriel's intentions were clear as a cloudless blue sky - which was very unlikely considering how cloudy it was outside right now. Nevertheless, Sam didn't care about the implications of that statement. He simply wanted to figure out the secret of the box and see what it meant. With that in mind, he placed the black box on his desk and sat down on his bed.

Upon reading the note Sam furrowed his eyebrows "How come?" he wondered aloud.

He put the note down next to his pillow, deciding to read the note again later. With that, Sam closed his bedroom door and walked over to his desk again.

He plopped down onto his chair and pulled his laptop out of his bag. Opening up Google, Sam typed in 'Gabriel Reyes'. A few seconds later, the search results popped up. There were a lot of articles mostly about the accident that killed their father. Some of them included the fact that Gabriel wasn't actually supposed to drive that day but somehow got caught with another male boyfriend. A boy named 'Kenny', whose name he didn't remember.

There were also other articles about him and their dad being involved with each other. While some other articles were about Gabriel's mental health and how he had recently suffered from depression.

One article about him going to a the psychiatric institute was particularly interesting. It said that he spent several months there having therapy with a therapist named Dr. June Beckett before returning to school. The the article also stated that Dr. Beckett was currently working at SSAHS Hospital in Lawrence Kansas.

The article stated that Gabriel hadn't taken his meds and that he was suicidal. Another article talked about Gabriel's disappearance and Sam couldn't believe that the article contained no pictures of Gabriel, or anything regarding how he had disappeared.

There were even articles about him disappearing at the end of last year and about him being seen alive only recently.
