The Pendant

"Hey, hon! Did you hear about this?!"

Heath Farley was watching the news while calling out to his wife, Marlena Farley. "Somebody robbed that museum you work at," said Heath. "The one with all the kooky stuff."

"Occult," said Marlena.

"Well, all they took was some sort of necklace," said Heath. "Claims to change people into werewolves, oh brother." Heath later called out to Marlena, doing so when he didn't hear a response to his statement.

"Women."

"I'm sorry?" asked Heath.

"You definitely are," Marlena said as she appeared to Heath, while wearing the necklace. Heath's shock increased as she saw Marlena suddenly sprout claws and fangs, while her appearance was halfway wolf-like.

"The pendant is made of moonstone," Marlena snarled, "and it changes women into werewolves. Not that you ever listened to anything I ever say." Heath's attempt to escape saw him quickly stumble, and he was also feeling quite disoriented.

"I put a little something in your drink, dear," Marlena snickered before her muzzle extended, which was followed by the she-wolf lunging at Heath's throat. Marlena howled in celebration of her fiendish plot, which resulted in a lucrative insurance payout following Heath's death of a "mysterious animal attack."
