The Origin of Super Fat

I created the story when I was in High School

By David E. PerryPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In the secret department of my belt, I’ve stacked a 3000 calorie Super-Fat Snack.

Ned Farlin was the best safety inspector Dumbsville Nuclear Power Plant ever had. He was Employee of the Month for the last 15 months in a row. This was mainly due to the fact that he would always work through his lunch break.

“Safety does not take a break.”

One day there was a power outage in the area where he lived. This caused his alarm clock to reset. He woke up late and had to skip breakfast so that he was not late for work. By lunch time, he was very hungry. As normal, he worked through lunch. When he got a moment to step away, he accidentally stuck his plate in the nuclear reactor instead of the microwave. The fact that his food had an odd green glow to it didn’t bother him. He ate it anyway.

That night, while he was sleeping, his body started to undergo a transformation. He went from 125 pounds to 521 pounds in about 1 hour. He woke up when his bed broke.

When he got off the floor, he turned on the news only to find out that the power plant was under attack. He ran outside and started to lift in the air.

“I can fly!”

He flew to the power plant and started to fight the bad guys. Lasers came out of his eyes, and they took off running.

On lookers began to talk:

“Man, are you fat!”

“He ain’t just fat, he’s super fat.”

The name stuck.

Ned Farlin continued to work at the power plant to keep his secret identity. He also needed to keep his food in the reactor. Storing snacks in his belt gave him a boost.
