The Old, Wooden, Black Door

There was only one rule:

Don’t open the door.

The old, wooden, black door that showed up every year in a new spot in the town between October 30th and November 1st.

While no official rule existed in the town’s law, it was known that you shouldn’t open it.

But every Halloween, when it appeared, at least one teenager had the bright idea to ignore the rule and open it anyway.

Each person’s experience was unique, but when they closed the door, something fundamental had changed within them.

So, who will open the door this year?
