The Mystery of the Locked Room
The Mystery of the Locked Room

In a small town filled with old houses and narrow streets, there lived a young detective named Kareem. Kareem was known for his sharp mind and quick ability to solve puzzling mysteries. One day, Kareem received a strange call from an old man named Mr. Mansour, who lived in an ancient mansion on the outskirts of the town.
“Come quickly, something strange is happening in my house!” Mr. Mansour said in a trembling voice.
When Kareem arrived at the mansion, Mr. Mansour led him to a tightly locked room. “This room hasn’t been opened in years, but I heard strange noises coming from inside last night,” Mr. Mansour said.
Kareem examined the door and windows, but they were securely locked from the inside. There were no signs of anyone entering or leaving the room. Yet, the noises continued, as if something was moving inside.
Kareem began to inspect the walls, looking for anything unusual. After a few minutes, he noticed an old book on one of the shelves. When he opened it, he found an ancient letter written by the original owner of the mansion, which read: “To those who seek the treasure, they must solve the riddle.”
Kareem had to think deeply. How could the room be locked so tightly and still have noises coming from it? After much thought, Kareem remembered that many old houses had secret passages.
Kareem searched the adjacent room and found a small lever hidden behind one of the paintings. When he pulled it, a secret wall opened, leading to a dark passage that connected to the locked room.
Entering the room, Kareem discovered that the noises were caused by a series of pipes connected to the walls, which vibrated when the wind blew. In the end, Kareem found a small wooden box containing some old jewels and a letter from the mansion’s original owner, thanking him for solving the riddle.
