The most terrifying occupations in the world include needing to disarm explosives, watch over violent inmates, navigate treacherous waters, and occasionally even enter volcanoes.

You're about to see some of the most terrifying jobs in the world and learn how much they pay. First, let's take a look at the position of a bomb diffuser. Because they are so crucial in times of war, these workers must perform one of the riskiest and most stressful jobs imaginable because if they make a mistake, they risk being blown up along with everyone else nearby. Additionally, they frequently work in hazardous environments like war zones, where they sometimes have to defuse bombs Defutile suits are designed to guard against shrapnel, however only the blast wave itself is protected from, which might result in interior injuries like blast lung and other possibly deadly ones.

Bomb defusers in other countries don't even wear bomb defusal outfits because they can't even stop the majority of gunfire. Each suit costs about $20,000, so there aren't enough of them to go around in developing nations. However, how much money can you expect to make if you're ready to risk your life to defuse bombs? Although the work that bomb defusers perform is heroic, their average yearly wage in the United States is actually less than that amount, at $56,000. Is the risk truly worth the money? another very scary job is being a prison guard imagine having to manage some of the most dangerous and scary people in the world prisons are normally very understaffed for every 100 inmates there's only around 10 guards this means they are way outnumbered they have to deal with prisoners sometimes attacking them and sometimes prison escapes sometimes prison guards even have to track down prisoners who have escaped in 2013 53 prison guards passed away on the job this was normally from inmates who turned violent prison guards make around 50 000 per year some prison guards say that being at work is like being in jail themselves they're just like the inmates except they leave at the end of the day but while they're in there they still experience prison like many of the inmates prison can be very depressing even as a prison guard you're stuck inside a dark metal and concrete building all day you also have to work with some of the worst people in the world dealing with people who may be serving life sentences for unspeakable crimes A dangerous profession that many people overlook is working as a wind turbine technician.

In 2012, 63 technicians lost their lives because it's simple to fall off these turbines and they can also catch fire. In 2013, a windmill fire trapped two technicians. One of the workers attempted to escape through the fire, while the other tried to wait as long as he could for a helicopter rescue. Eventually, he jumped, meaning that both died. Moving on, let's look at the job of an oil rigger. An oil rig is one of the most dangerous places to work for a number of reasons, including the fact that you're in the middle of the ocean, where the waters can be very unpredictable. If you get caught in a storm, your entire oil rig may shake, and enormous waves sometimes push people in. Being a bodyguard is a terrifying job that requires extensive training in self-defense, as well as occasionally offensive and defensive driving. Celebrity bodyguards also have to deal with crazed fans. The average annual compensation of an oil rig worker is $50,000.

Additionally, bodyguards for politicians must deal with assassination attempts. When applying to be a bodyguard, you voluntarily give up your safety for your employer; you might even have to take a bullet while performing your duties.

Bodyguards earn about $65,000 annually. Guarding people is scary, but guarding money is even scarier, and that's what security truck drivers have to do every day. Security trucks are a huge target for criminals, and in some countries, armoured vehicle drivers are armed because robberies of these trucks are so common. One of these vehicles can carry up to 600 million dollars, though they typically only carry 2 to 4 mill. Now let's look up at another extremely dangerous job; I'm talking about skyscraper window cleaners. Ever wonder how those enormous buildings stay so shiny? Well, people clean these individual windows. Sometimes window cleaning platforms break, causing window cleaners to swing around very high in the sky until they are rescued. And occasionally, window cleaners just fall from buildings in 2017.

Skyscraper window washers earn about 35,000 annually. Look at this extremely eerie photo taken in 1980; it depicts a volcanologist named David A. Johnston just hours after this was taken; his life would end as a result of the volcanic eruption of Mount Saint Helens. Volcanologists occasionally perish due to lava bubbles popping; sometimes they need to go to the site of erupting volcanoes. Years later, Harry Glicken, a friend of David's, suffered the same tragedy. He was studying Mount Anzen in Japan when he perished due to a huge volcano cloud.

Volcanologists make about $100,000 a year on average. Finally, let's take a look at what it takes to be a ship captain. It's safe to say that the ocean is one of the world's most terrifying environments. Ship captains must ensure that their vessel does not capsize even during the worst storms. They are the last line of defence even when ships are literally breaking apart because of extremely rough waters. There are many things that can go wrong on ships, including crashes, anchor drop failures, and enormous, unforeseen storms. Captains of ships often earn around $90,000. Some would argue that being a youtuber is an even riskier career; when making this video, I could have hurt my finger by accidentally clicking the mouse, but now is the moment to stand up for what you believe in.

Which of these occupations would you accept, and how much would you need to be paid? Please comment below. if you're interested. Thank you
