Sarge laid there in his bed next to his wife and his knew what to do and let him tell the story again. Why is always at the same place the Beta Team has entered the small town where we walk as a team doing a standard recon mission when all of a sudden, we scatter to various buildings to see where the shots are coming from then for some reason just stops for what could be snow or it could have been a sandstorm, but why does it turn everything white though. His wife just looks at him and tells him that she thinks that he needs to go to group and share this and maybe one of the other Beta Team members may have the answer that he is looking for why can he not remember what happened after the sniper shots.

Sarge got up and did his daily routine and then headed off the Vet Center and when he got there he asked if one of his team members was able to see him for after they were discharged the corporal of the team became a veteran's counselor. Hey, Sarge what's up? You know I had that dream again where Beta Team is doing that recon mission and then the sniper fire, we separate to cover more ground to see where he was located and for me it seems to start snowing or was it a sandstorm. Do you know or can share some info with me on what happened. Did we get the sniper or what was it?

Sarge, let's go over here and get some of that coffee and then we can relax and have you close your eyes and you will be right back when the snow/sand started to fall around you. I remember what happened, but I cannot tell you for you have to find out for yourself and your dreams will end. Are you in that building, Sarge? Yes. What do you see? The townspeople are running for cover, shots are sounding all around, then suddenly all is quiet. I look out the window and there is a little kid just lying there and I run out to check. Sarge, I remember that child. You are right. I hear the Huey coming for us and I carry the child to the Huey. Yeah, keep going. The four of us run and hop on the chopper and we lift off. The pilot for some reason is not giving any instructions to us and then we notice he has been shot, and I for some reason jump into his seat and fly the bird to headquarters. The mission ended great and why the dreams. I wonder could it mean that you do not to be a hero, but just someone that volunteered and did his job the best he could. That could be the reason for the dream for you just want to be a soldier not a hero, and everyone made us heroes unwittingly. Now you feel guilty for some reason, but you do not have to feel that way for you know the citizens of the United States will remember and you will say thank you and move along.

A few months later the Sarge came back to the Vet Center spoke to his friend and told him that he has had no more dreams and just wanted to say thanks for helping him how to cope with being a 'HERO'.
