The man I respect
Everyone is worthy of respect, as he is worthy of my respect...

I was moved to the back of the table with the scruffy student who was a fake overachiever.
I was glad to have a deskmate who would let me do my homework in the future, but when I switched to greet him in a friendly way and received a contemptuous look, I thought to myself, this man is not good looking, I must be careful in the future.
On the first day we sat at the same table with him, we hardly crossed paths. After all, it was not good to make a loud noise in class and wake him up from his dream. His hair will soon be longer than mine if not cut, this is no wonder, the oil bright hair at least three or four days have not washed, for hair nutrition is enough, but the oil and water make hair can not breathe, how busy he is, this is really good?
Sometimes just ten minutes after class, he would go to the grocery store to soak a bucket of instant noodles and buy a few marinated eggs. He asked me not to eat them, but I just refused him with a smile -- really a pseudo-excellent student, emotional quotient is not higher than IQ, like me a lady, how could she eat that stinky marinated eggs? He just grunted and sat in his seat sucking so hard that I didn't protest so as not to hurt his pride.
Today, he even proposed to draw the 38th line. In his words, I shot him today to remind him that the teacher called him a little harder, which disturbed his dream. He also said that if he had not answered the problem, he would ask the teacher to change me. I was strange strange, he has been unable to afford to sit at the same table, if not respect him is an excellent student, how can I and such a messy and inhuman person as deskmate?
After much consideration, I really can't figure out why his grades are so good. Even if he only listens to the old class every day and sleeps the rest of the time, maybe he stays up late reading at night, or maybe he sleeps more to nourish his brain. Other boys in my class said he was different from us after school, but I didn't know why. I didn't sleep well for days.
A few days ago, he received a package from the municipal welfare institute, but he was quickly stuffed into the bag, do not let me see, I was very curious about this, decided to find out.
On Saturday, I had to go downtown to make up my lessons, so I stopped by the welfare house early. When I arrived at the gate of the welfare home, I looked at my watch, and before 6:30, I stood at the gate and watched -- how familiar figure ah, the young man dressed in a white shirt was scrubbing the children's clothes in the welfare home early. It was not like my dirty deskmates at all. I seemed to understand why he would go to class and sleep every day. It's about catching up on sleep...
His parents died in a car accident when he was seven years old. At that time, the director of the welfare institute was just an employee of the welfare institute. She was deeply saddened by the death of her old classmate, so she took him to the welfare institute to raise him herself. Now he has been adopted, but he still does what he can to help the children in the orphanage. After hearing the dean's words, I was very moved, and that once horrible deskmate immediately set up a great image in my heart. For his kindness and gratitude, a wave of respect arose in my heart and I decided to do volunteer work here on weekends to learn from him.
Now he doesn't sleep in class, because I rely on him to deal with the teacher's questions in class. The most important thing is that I do volunteer work in the welfare home, which helps him lighten a lot of burdens. I still don't like to eat marinated eggs, but I often buy marinated eggs to reward him. He disdainfully said that he helped me with my study only in case I missed my homework as a volunteer. At the same time, he took the marinated eggs of course and ate them with taste.
Everyone is worthy of respect, as he is worthy of my respect...
