My name is Joseph Miller. I am 30 years old. I once had a wife. Her name was Samantha Jack. She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my whole life. We fell in love when we were studying in university.
She was known for her kindness and I was known for how smart I was. We locked our eyes into each others' and that was when we fell in love.
The world felt magical. It was love at first sight.
We got married 5 years ago. Her beautiful face and lovely attitude made me want to fulfill my wish even more. I couldn't wait. I would only imagine her reaction until the D-day.
I am a surgeon and she was a teacher. Three times a week, I still go to that place.
I sit there, close my eyes and remember her last golden memories with me. It makes me happy. The police had drawn an outline of her body using a chalk that day. It was 2 years ago, 16th of March. I cried a lot that day, I had to. Many pitied me.
The police tried to calm me down but I didn’t stop, I couldn't. I can still see a few of those chalk marks. Most of it has vanished or faded away.
That day we were returning home at night. After my shift was over, we had gone shopping together. It was at around 12:30 when we were holding hands. On my other hand, hidden, was a scalpel.
All I did was slash her main vein in the wrist of her right hand and blood started spilling like a red waterfall from the cut.
Whenever she used to smile, it used to look enchanting to me. I would only imagine how she would look like when she cried, how her smile would change, how her voice would tremble.
I did it.
Now I could see it.
Her eyes were full of sadness, regret and anguish. I was full of joy.
She asked me with a trembling voice and tears streaming down her eyes, "What have you done? Why?"
I glared at her with wide eyes and smiled. I said to her in a calming voice, "You are giving me the best pleasure!"
I looked up at the starless dark night sky, spread my hands and laughed out of extreme excitement and thrill.
I almost shed a tear as the moments felt almost unreal, so perfect.
She fell to the ground, facing downward and looked at me for the last time. She was struggling to breathe and then laid on the ground with her mouth open. Then her hand falling open, fingers spreading one last time.
I saw her until the very end. I saw her taking the last breath.
It was beautiful.
It was a mesmerizing sight.
I had finally fulfilled my wish. When she was lifeless, I saw that in her other hand there was a navy blue mini jeweler box.
I took it and opened it, she had bought a diamond ring for me. Inside was a white diamond ring, pure and delicate, just like she was..
It was alluring. Every time I visit that place, I sit there, kiss the ring and replay her last moments in my head. It brings me immense joy.
My relatives told me that I should move on with my life. I listened to them. I live in another city with a new girlfriend now.
Her name is Ruby Maroon and she is a masterpiece.
Guess I just have to wait a little longer...
For another thrilling, unforgettable experience.
