The Lost One

My name is Eric Glare, and when I was young I was always told work hard to become the best person you can be. Did I listen? Yeah right fuck that. I’m going to live this life my way.

10 years later

I became a bounty hunter. In order to serve my enemies revenge in a legal fashion. But today I am undercover as a weapons dealer. In order to catch my objective in the act. I have the entire robbery homicide division staged outside. With fully armed snipers. Out about a mile distance up the hill’s. In front of the building. I will get the bastard’s. But before-hand I will get the information that I need. To go after my own target. Here they come game on folks. I said speaking lightly into my earpiece microphone. That’s when the loudmouth crooks walked up to me laughing, and said yes we agree. Don’t we boys? Game on. The lead criminal said. With a big grin on his face. That’s when I knew the bastards had paid off the entire robbery homicide division. In order to turn the tables on me. What they weren’t expecting was I also had my own personal team of warriors staged on the other side of the building, and outside behind the snipers waiting for my order. Then I smiled back at him, and asked him are you sure your ready for this? He looked at me very perplexed. Then out of nowhere a bullet pierced threw his skull, and he dropped dead weight in front of his entire team. Of course at this point there guns were out, and they were in confused, and chaotic thought. About what had just happened. then my operatives walked in with all of the crooked police’s hands high in the air. I smiled, and looked at my head of special forces, and asked did you get everything on tape. He grinned, and threw me the flash drive with everything on it, and responded with yes sir I did. I said good go back to my office to

be debriefed and reassigned new covers, and I will call if I require your assistance again. They replied with yes sir. I got on my computer, and emailed the video footage to the media, to the district attorneys office as well as to internal affairs, and the FBI. Afterwards one of the criminals looked at me, and said but we thought you were just a bounty hunter. I looked at him with a huge grin on my face, and replied with that was your first mistake. Assuming that the situation was what it seemed. Then I told him this you just sit tight. Don’t worry someones coming to get you guys, and I walked out. Once I was outside, and mobile. I received an email with all the information I needed from a shadow resource. I have in another country. I replied thank you to him. With my subject line reading the lost one, and I disappeared into the shadows once again.
