In the sprawling kingdom of Eldoria, where magic flows as naturally as rivers, there lived a young lockmaker named Locke. Raised in a humble workshop under the mentorship of Master Eryndor, the kingdom’s most celebrated artisan, Locke had spent years perfecting his craft. Each lock he created was a masterpiece—ornate, intricate, and imbued with small enchantments that only a handful of people in the world could replicate.

One day, a royal messenger burst into the workshop with an urgent command: Locke and his master were summoned to the palace. The king himself had a task that no other artisan could fulfill. The task? To craft a lock powerful enough to seal away a cursed key—a relic whispered about only in frightened tavern tales.

The key, forged centuries ago by an ancient mage, was said to grant its wielder the power to rewrite the fabric of reality. But with every use, the key would drain the life force of its bearer, leaving them hollow shells. The relic had been found in the ruins of a forgotten tower, and now, it was too dangerous to leave uncontained.

While Master Eryndor began designing the lock, Locke grew curious about the cursed key. One night, unable to resist its allure, he snuck into the royal vault to see it for himself. Without thinking, Locke touched it—and in an instant, visions of an alternate world filled his mind.
