I don't know why, but the little rooster's eyes are not good lately, what grain ah, small insects, all can not see clearly. His little friend, however, saw it from afar and ran up and ate it all at once. The little rooster can only follow the little friend running blindly, at most picking up some leftover things. The little rooster was very distressed by this.

The wise magpie told the little rooster, that his eye problem, maybe myopia, perhaps astigmatism, but as long as a pair of suitable glasses, wear, will be able to see clearly.

The little rooster heard this, straight happy fluttering jump. But when he thought about it, he was discouraged: "People wear glasses, they hang on the ears. I am a small rooster, my ears are just two small holes, no ear shell, with glasses to hang ah? Well, find who does not need to wear glasses, first borrow a pair of ear shells to use them!

The little rooster's mind: the old yellow dog's eyes are quite sharp, he must not need to wear glasses, so first go to the old yellow dog.

"Brother Yellow Dog, lend me your ear shells. I want a pair of glasses, but there is no place to hang them."

The old yellow dog put his ears up and said, "How can I do that? I want to use my ear shells myself. You see, when I hunt, I put my two ear shells up, and I can hear any beast that makes a little noise. And my ear shells can often switch direction, a moment to turn east, a moment to turn west, the sound in all directions, I can hear, no need to turn your head around, how convenient it is! Think about it, how can I lend you my ear shell?"

The little rooster heard that the old yellow dog had a point, so he walked away. He thought, "The bat's ear shell is very large, hanging glasses must be very stable, so he went to the bat.

The bat's wife was hanging upside down in a tree cave, sleeping. The little rooster woke her up and said he wanted to borrow the ear shell from her. The bat's wife was angry and amused and said, "How can you think only of yourself! If I lend you my ears, I will fly out and die on the roof!"

The little rooster was puzzled, so he asked carefully, "Sister bat, you have eyes, how can you still crash on the eaves? What I borrowed from you is an ear shell!"

The bat sister-in-law said, "Good brother, my eyes are not as good as yours! I am almost 'blind' during the day, and at night, although I am a little better, I can't rely on my eyes to recognize the way. I fly around to catch mosquitoes, all rely on these ears to ensure safe flight!"

The little rooster felt even more strange and asked, "How can your ears help you recognize your way? Sister Bat!"

Bat Sister-in-law said, "When I fly, a sound is constantly emitted from my throat. This is a kind of ultrasonic sound, it will immediately reflect when it touches something. As soon as I hear it, I know there is an obstacle in front of me, so I can immediately avoid it. My two large ear shells, like a trumpet mouth, receive ultrasonic waves relying on them. Also, the hairs on my ear shells are very useful, and I can detect anything slight immediately, more sensitive than the snail's tentacles. Ah ah ah, the ear shell is my life, absolutely can not be lent to you." After the bat's wife finished speaking, she fell asleep again.

The little rooster walked back to the squirrel's house in frustration. When he saw that the squirrel had two big ears on his head and looked very cute, he said, "Brother squirrel, lend me your ear shells, I want to wear a pair of glasses."

He said, "No, no, no. I can't live without my ears. I go through the dense bushes all day long, jumping and skipping, without the ear shell to protect my eyes, my eyes would have been blinded by the branches. Sorry, I can't borrow this."

It was almost dark, and the little rooster was so tired after running all day that he lay down under a big tree to rest. Suddenly a furry thing came out of the hole in the rock. The little rooster was frightened, and when he looked closely, he saw that it was a mole. The mole was so frightened that it quickly retreated into the hole.

The little rooster was so happy that he called out: "Don't be afraid, little mole, I am a little rooster. I think you don't have to hunt like a yellow dog, fly around like a bat to catch mosquitoes or jump around on branches like a squirrel. Your ear shells must be of no use, lend them to me to get a pair of glasses to wear!"

When the little mole heard that he wanted to borrow his ear shell, he laughed and said, "Little rooster, you are blind! Look carefully, I don't have ear shells, just like you. Think about it, I've been burrowing around in the ground all day, so my ear shells are a big nuisance. Your flying birds do not need any ear shells. With the ear shells, when flying, it is like two more windshields, how hard it is! Of course, you don't need to fly now. But your ancestor, the original chicken, was also a good flyer!

The little rooster said, "But I need a pair of glasses to wear, how can I do that?" The mole said, "Wouldn't you use a string and attach the glasses to the back of your head?" "No? I was confused. Thank you." The little rooster went home happily.
