The Lake

In the serene countryside of Thailand, amidst the tranquil landscapes, a farmer readies himself for a night of fishing by the nearby lake. Meanwhile, his neighbors embark on an unusual quest to capture frogs displaced by heavy rain. Unbeknownst to them, a colossal, pulsating egg is discovered, concealing a dreadful creature within. As the unsuspecting humans prepare to leave, a monstrous entity emerges, roaring ferociously and unleashing chaos, leaving the wife of the farmer desperately searching for her vanished husband.

The local police, alerted to the tragedy, assign the experienced Detective James to investigate. Examining the gruesome wounds inflicted on the victims, he deduces a colossal animal as the culprit, suspecting it to have eluded capture through water channels. Simultaneously, on a nearby farm, a young girl named May discovers a massive egg in a swamp, unaware of the impending danger.
