“Is this really necessary?” the young nurse asked in a muffled radio voice. The doctor looked over, his brows furrowed. “Absolutely. Her... condition... has such a powerful effect on those around her that we have to take the greatest precautions. Even females such as yourself are not immune to the Effect.” The nurse seemed hesitant to advance, but the doctor assured her they had prepared well. The two reached nearly to the end of the long white hallway, when they heard a plaintive voice come from the last cell.

“Visitors? Am I getting visitors?” The nurse looked at her supervisor. He nodded, and whispered, “Don't let her sweet talk you, it's nearly as bad as the Effect.”

They came before the cell, a wall of plexiglass and a slit for passing food between them. The woman inside was dressed in a white jumpsuit that still managed to accentuate her sensual curves. She saundered up to the wall, looking the newcomer up and down. “So, did he tell you? How he was the one who made me this way?” The nurse felt nervous, wondering if this inmate had already begun to weave a spell on her. The doctor had already assured her that it had all been an honest mistake, the experiment that increased the inmate's pheromones to levels dangerous to humans.

“She knows the story, Juliet.” Juliet looked the new hire over with a wry smile. “I think I'm gonna like this one.” She turned to the doctor. “I suppose you have a job for me?” The doctor brought out a photo, and held it up to her. “This is Police Captain Malloy. He's gotten too close to our benefactor. You know what to do.” Juliet smiled at the photo. “I'm going to give him the best kiss.”
