The Kingdom of Tairius
Nassum (Na- say- um) Letter

There weren't always dragons in the valley.
Could you even fathom brother, them returning.
They were always seen as mythological creature or something to be used as a metaphor. The ancient book "The Foundation" speaks about them. Some believed. But in this futuristic world... with innovation and marvels beyond measure, The stories are seen as legends... but were here we are.
I write to brother... Jarinain (Jay-ri-na-in). Most know you as a brave lord General, but those close to you, know as brother. I write to you as testimony to the validity of the thing former and hope for the latter. But for now this must be made secret.
I write to you the vision given to me. As you know of my gift of foresight. Not to boast, but it saved us on many occasions. It can be burden on me from time to time, yet I do not regret it. The vision of former is to better understand our enemy we face before us. It is an enemy that has always been, yet, is hiding in plain sight, now... slowly revealing themselves. There have been reports of dragons being seen. I have received intel from those loyal to the cause, of creature; leviathans from the deep in the southern oceans, monstrous creatures from the east, and now a dragon. They were spotted when my team was scouting the northeast Matrellian sector. My team was able to not be spotted by the creature. They describe it as a scale like creature with webbed wings. I believe because of our effort; For ages we're finally drawing our enemies out to point of provoking them. They will stop at nothing to thwart our effort and seek supremacy over all Threa (Th-ray.
I will tell my vision. But to understand it, we must start go back to the beginning...
The Phenomenals
In "The Foundations," the ancient book we studied so long ago, said that the world, "Threa," was created by the Great King "Noil" (No-eel). The great Father fashioned and molded the world to his liking. Beautiful and grand was it. In it, he created "E-clae" (E-cl-ay) which mean the molded ones. But in the common tongue they are called "Phenomenals." These beings are vastly superior than us. Many of our comrades have testified of these "beings" giving aid to them in battle. The soul purpose of the "phenomenals" was to serve the Great King Noil. The phenomenals had four beings to govern them...
Ashkos (Ash-Kos) was the first created of them. He was empowered by Noil to rule over the four beings. He ruled them from the north corner of the world. Ashkos was given the red eagle which was "Empowerment" to rule. The second was Calegera (Cal-a-ger-a). She ruled from the South. Calegera was given the blue Swan which was given for Compassion. Remmah (Ree-Ma) was the third and ruled from the West and was given the gold Beaver for innovation, and the last were the twin like being Oliph (O-leef) and Olipha (O-leef-a) they ruled from the east. and were given the green owl for wisdom.
These were called the (E-shon) or in translation, the sons and daughters of the four corners also know as the king and queens or gods of the four corners (pending translation). They ruled the four corners while the greatest kingdom of them all stood in the center... the kingdom Tairius. It was there the Great King Noil's throne resided over all and ruled the harmony of Threa.
It was only until the rebellion.

The Dissension
Some call it the great perversion, some call it "The great Rebellion" most commonly it merely called "The Dissension." Ashkos, the eldest of the gods, rose up against the Great King. He began by perverting his own "phenomenals" in the north to rebel. He began with their minds first then with their bodies. It was to the point they were no longer recognizable from creation the great king intended them to be. From then, Ashkos seduced his other brothers and sister to follow his cause. The perversion manifested itself great. Ashkos began to take every creature he could to bend to his will. He even perverted his own symbolic creature and transformed it from an eagle to a dark serpent... a dragon. Remember brother... it is writing he wore it as banner in his rebellion. Instead of empowering he became dominant.
Likewise, the other gods did the same. Calegera, went from her swan turning into a jaguar- from being compassionate to seductive. Remmah, from a beaver to a bear - from innovation to destruction. And Oliph and Olipha went from owl to serpent- from wisdom to deception.

Not all the "phenomenals" followed the uprising. It is said in ancient book that many stayed loyal, at huge cost, to the Great King. To separate the two we no longer called them "phenomenals" but they are called (AX-non) "formidables." War broke lose in all corners of the world. The war grew intense until it reach the city of Tairius. As it written;
"Ashkos, boisterous is he... the red son, turns his heart to rise against Glory. He says to gods, "we will ascend higher than our Father, and we will bring bout, what is true order."
His words were never fulfilled. For it was the Great King who brought all opposition against him down low. As it is also written;
"The foes of Glory surround Him, but His might bring them to their knees to the appointed time of their destruction."
Noil had each of the gods of the four corners bound. For the ancient poem speaks;
Their kingdoms.... now prisons, their thrones... now footstool, their monuments are relics, and their honor is now their shame for the ages.
The Foundations speak of them being in prison in the kingdoms they once ruled and bound in chains in the very thrones they sat in. The age of the Phenomenals had ended and the age of "the lesser ones" came.
The Lesser Ones
I know many hate the term but, (E- non) "The lesser ones" or "the lesser beings" are us... the modern man. Created by Noil but unlike phenomenals. We are not them. Not even close. But no less loved by our Creator. "The Cabaum" or "Cabaum" (Ca-ba-um) is the first among us. The Foundation say that he was loved so much by Noil that he inherited the throne of Tairius and rule the world. Cabaum is first king of Tairius. Along with his queen Akula (Ak-u-la) they ruled. Even though the power is not as the Phenomenals, we are not powerless. It came a different way. The E-non powers is reliant upon the connection to Noil and upon the unity; So long as Cabaum was connected with Noil his power would grow. And unified with Akula their power was immeasurable and there bodies would never decay. And as the population grew, their power was based on the cooperate unity; "Copaus Unum" (Co-pa- us Un-um) translated "all becoming one." They built a world with innovations; not as today's futuristic technology. But we see marvels of the ancient relics... the ones left that is. The population grew. Generations passed and other kingdom were established through their children. Threa flourished once more.
The Diminishing
Unfortunately, we know well the story of the Diminishing. Though Cabuam was king of world there were regions in which he was not to embark upon. For it is said;
The boundaries are set for the balance the world, cross them and you will release such an evil, and the power of man will fade.
Therefore, as the population grew in number, he had to set laws that prohibited anyone from going into those territories. No one new when or how long in took for the diminishing to happened, but by the time it took effect it was too late. For by the time Cabaum could respond he too was deceived. The kingdoms Threa rebelled and released the gods of the four corners. When this happened the unity of populous broke. More importantly, the unity of king Cabaum and Akula broke and the power of Tairius died. The Great King "Noil" reseeded the power given to them and diminishing began to happen. Slowly there was dissension here, and dissension there. My theory is; After seeing the first death occur, fear began to rise causing more intense chaos. Just like the ancient writer said;
"You have seen your own vulnerability. You are limited among yourselves... And it terrifies you."
Terror makes man do desperate things. We've seen this our day... on the harsh battlefields, the so called civilized seats of justice, and as minor as the common home.
Brother, I know you're curious to why i'm saying these things. You don't need theological history lesson. I write to you because pieces are now unfolding. The Foundations are true; the kingdoms of Threa released the gods of the four corners believing that they would bring peace. A peace they already had. They lost sight of the truth and instead the gods brought nothing more than bondage and dominion over us.
The Age of Dominance
The Formidables tactics are always same. One writer wrote in the book of battle;
"They Promise you peace and give you war. They promise you a dream and they give you a nightmare.
They are false saviors. They decieved to E-non's to turn against each other. How great was the deception of the story of Cabaum and Akula... how they drew into madness. How there love turned to hatred. They were seduced by spirits to point of death. The Great King nor the phenomenals were ever seen in that fashion accessible. They lived among us but no more. The kingdom of Tairius split. As time waned the great city went to dust. It is said Ashkon tried to established rule on the throne of Tairius, but the throne dissolved in front of him when he tried to sit on it.
For Thousands of years we have fought against them. For our freedom. Well... those that resisted at least. Some believed the lies of "formidables." We were, and are not (even now), completely abandon from the Great King. Though are capabilities are not as the "Formidables", or as our ancestors, there have been occasions when supernatural being have aided us in our efforts. Our prays and petitions to "Noil" are not unheard. He has given some of us gifts despite our descending nature. To combat against them, some were gifted strength, flight, foresight, things that in this age would be believed as inconceivable in the mind. But these are for those of us who still have faith in the prophecy...
"They have fallen, but will be held up by a strong Arm. They are beneath you, yet they will triumph over you."
You and I brother, have been blessed with many gifts. On the brink of death on the battlefield we were given long life. To be guardians and guides of generations that will still hold true to this faith... The king of Tairius will reunite all people and restore the "Copus Unum" (The Unity) and bring destruction to the gods once and for all. We know, as long as we been fighting... when we began to fight with these gifts the gods began to fear the prophecy.
The Common Age
"The formidables" saw they could be challenged. And out of know where, they disappeared. For a thousands of years it goes silent. No sign of the gods, dragons, or dark creatures. Time went on. For a time, there was peace. Treaties were made, factions were formed and factions turned into nations. The world made new innovations. We also learned new ways to fight amongst each other. The weaponry that are made are like nothing ever seen. They watch us as we fight against each other for temporal power. Many believed we had drove the gods out... that we had won. But you and I know better. There motives have always been the same but tactics are different. They hid in shadows- plain sight... behind the common man. Influencing the world. They whisper lies... lies of their existence. "They were fables," the populous now say. Nations were forming greatly. We marveled at our own majesty! Believing ourselves gods. The power diminished again. This time... without us even knowing. I have no issue with anyone prospering but without wisdom it leads to a downfall. Their greatest weapon against us is complacency.
The Foundation are scoffed as legend, the testimonies of men having extraordinary power... lunacy, society believes only in it's own power-believing they shaped the world. Not knowing, they are merely puppets to a darker cause. But there is a remnant of us... very few of us.
The Futuristic Age

As the nations moved into the futuristic age they're tolerance for our beliefs grew short. Of course you there are places where you can openly express your beliefs like Hannabrough (even though some see them as giving insight for terrorism). In other nations like Matrell; one of the most powerful nations rivaling Hannabrough, not so. The land was establish on the old ancient grounds of the northern kingdom. Which, for some reason, I am not surprised. Ten years ago, on the third shift, the high lord had passed a bill out for "Absolute Restriction" on "The Foundations." They said it was cause of many conflicts and bloodshed... nonsense. There eyes are always fixed on Tairius. They unofficially call themselves overseers of land, they seek to make an agreement with the Prime counsel in Tairius and purpose a "Protection policy." Of course this nothing more than a ploy to disarm any defense they have and allow them to make us another Matrellian province. You would think the council isn't that gullible. But I don't have faith in them. Most don't care for the old ways... Most seek their own personal interest. The Matrellian empire pretends to be diplomatic but they are tyrannical by nature. If they can't negotiate or buy you out, they will burn you out. And I fear the council will bow to their will.
For this reason, for last 200 years, I have been using alternative means to hold the old banner. Means I cannot disclose in this letter. Just know, that though there are few. Most of them are young. Yet, oddly, in these years, there have been a scarce amount boys. As if ever decade there's a decline. The mass majority are girls. Don't get me wrong... they are excellent students and have become great women of courage. But I find it odd... when I do find a batch of boys... they die out. It seems like strong opposition come upon us. Many die before I can properly train them. I will look further into this theory.
This is what led me to this letter. I had dream. In the dream I stood upon a large tower. As I stood, I look over a large city. It had thick cloud cover over it. In the clouds, there was thunder and lightening yet no rain. And there I saw it... A large dragon in the clouds moving toward the city. As I saw this, I look down at the street. I see a young boy. He looked like he was in his teens. I tried to yell at him to find refuge but he couldn't hear me. He walked toward the dragon; as walk he began to age... each block... from a boy to a young man, to young to fully grown. But it didn't stop there. He was still transforming; Into something transcendent. He became this bright light and struck into the dragon. The dragon disappeared and the clouds cleared. It was so clear... it was as if you could see the whole universe all at once. Next thing, I'm on the street and host of people are among me. They look just like the boy... marvelous... is only way I can describe them. They all point towards the west and I awake. For the last three days I been having the same dream.
Brother, it has been years since we spoke. I pray you have not lost hope. It is important that you read this. For now, no one can see this but you. I believe the one we're look for is in the west. We must find him and find him quickly. I will be heading to Hannabrough speedily. I Pray the vision is true. I hope all is well. I know things were not on good terms when we last saw each other. But stay true to what we've known all these centuries.
I believe the time as come. I hope to see in again in better light. May the Great King Noil keep you.
Your friend and brother,
Nassum
