The Kindness of a Stranger
How Aruna Changed the Lives of Somesh, Komal, and Mannu
Somesh was an auto driver in a bustling city. He lived with his wife, Komal, and their two young children, Mannu and Pinkie, in a small house on the outskirts of the city. Komal worked as a home cook, preparing meals for the wealthier families in the area, while Somesh struggled to make ends meet with his meager earnings.

In spite of their financial difficulties, Somesh and Komal were devoted to providing their children with the best possible upbringing. They worked tirelessly, often long into the night, to ensure that their kids had enough food, clothing, and shelter. Mannu and Pinkie, in turn, were happy children, with sparkling eyes and mischievous grins.
Mannu and Pinkie were playing with their friends in the nearby park when suddenly Mannu collapsed on the ground. His friends were shocked and immediately ran to get help. Komal, who had just finished cooking for the day, was nearby and rushed to the park when she heard the commotion.
Mannu was barely conscious when Komal reached him. She immediately called Somesh and together they rushed their son to the hospital. The journey to the hospital seemed endless, with Somesh and Komal praying fervently for their son's recovery. Mannu had never been sick before, and they were afraid that something serious might have happened.
Once at the hospital, the doctors immediately attended to Mannu. Somesh and Komal were anxious as they watched their son being examined by the doctors. The waiting seemed endless, and they were afraid to hear the worst.
Finally, the doctor came out with a smile on his face. Mannu had fainted due to dehydration, and after some fluids and rest, he would be back to his mischievous self. Somesh and Komal breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for the timely medical attention.
Mannu was kept under observation for a few hours, and after getting a clean bill of health, they were allowed to take him home. The family was overjoyed to be reunited, and they hugged Mannu tightly, grateful for his recovery.
A few days after Mannu's first collapse, the unthinkable happened again. This time, he collapsed at home while playing with his sister Pinkie. Somesh and Komal immediately took him to the hospital, but this time the diagnosis was more serious.
The doctors found that Mannu was suffering from a rare congenital heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot. This condition was causing a decrease in oxygen levels in his blood and making him faint. The doctors informed Somesh and Komal that Mannu would need to undergo surgery as soon as possible to correct the problem.
Somesh and Komal were in shock. They had no idea that their son had been suffering from this condition since birth. The news of Mannu's condition was devastating for them. They were both afraid of the surgery and worried about the costs involved. They had never imagined that their son's health would cost them so much.
Even with their fear and apprehension, Somesh and Komal knew that they had to be strong for their son. They immediately started looking for options to fund Mannu's surgery. They went to various NGOs and charity organizations seeking help.
Mannu's surgery had been scheduled, but the family was struggling to collect the funds required for the operation. Mannu was still in the hospital, awaiting surgery. His health was deteriorating day by day and Somesh and Komal were feeling helpless.
They had exhausted all their savings, and their family and friends were unable to provide them with the financial assistance they needed. Somesh had even taken a loan, but it was not enough to cover the cost of the operation.
Somesh and Komal spent their days sitting beside Mannu's hospital bed, praying for a miracle. They were heartbroken to see their son in pain and struggling to breathe. They knew that time was running out, and they were afraid of losing him.
The hospital staff had been kind and sympathetic, but they could not keep Mannu in the hospital indefinitely. The family had to make a tough decision - either they had to find the funds for Mannu's operation, or they would have to take him back home without the surgery.
Somesh and Komal were torn between their love for their son and their inability to pay for the surgery. They had to make a difficult choice - to continue searching for funds or to take Mannu home.
As they sat in the hospital room, holding Mannu's hand, they prayed for a miracle. They hoped that someone would come to their aid and help them raise the funds they needed.
The family's fate hung in the balance as they waited for a sign of hope.
As Somesh and Komal sat in the hospital room, feeling helpless and desperate, Somesh's friend came to visit them. He had heard about their situation and suggested that they reach out to a fundraising online platform to seek help.

Somesh and Komal had never heard of such a platform, but they were willing to try anything to save their son. They immediately went online and pleaded their case on the fundraising platform, explaining their dire situation and the urgent need for funds.
They shared Mannu's story and their struggles, hoping that someone would hear their plea and help them raise the money they needed for his surgery. They felt relieved to have found a platform where they could reach out to a larger audience beyond their immediate circle of family and friends.
The online fundraising platform provided them with a glimmer of hope. They were grateful for the opportunity to share their story and appeal for help. They knew that the platform could provide them with the much-needed exposure to reach a wider audience who could help them raise the money they needed.
Somesh and Komal poured their hearts out in their desperate plea for help. They shared photos of Mannu and his siblings, hoping to garner more support. They were overwhelmed by the response they received.
People from all over the world reached out to them, offering their prayers, support, and donations. The family was touched by the kindness of strangers, and they felt blessed to have found such a compassionate community.
After a few days of sharing their story on the fundraising platform, Somesh and Komal received a visit from a wealthy and kind lady named Aruna. She had read about their plight and had been moved by Mannu's story.
Aruna was a philanthropist who believed in helping those in need. She visited Mannu and his parents in the hospital and spent time talking to them. She was touched by the family's struggles and their love for their son.
Aruna learned about the rare disease that Mannu was suffering from and the urgent need for his surgery. She immediately offered to help and donated the entire amount needed for the operation.

Somesh and Komal were overwhelmed by Aruna's generosity. They had never met anyone like her before, and they were grateful for her kindness. They thanked her profusely and expressed their gratitude for her help.
Aruna assured the family that she would take care of all the expenses for Mannu's surgery and his hospital stay. She also offered to provide them with any other assistance they might need.
Over the next few days, Aruna stayed in touch with the family and provided them with regular updates on Mannu's progress. She visited him in the hospital and made sure that he was receiving the best possible care.
Thanks to Aruna's help, Mannu underwent successful surgery, and his health began to improve. Somesh and Komal were overjoyed to see their son recovering, and they felt blessed to have found a guardian angel in Aruna.
After spending several weeks in the hospital, Mannu was finally discharged and allowed to return home. His parents were overjoyed to have him back and were grateful for his improved health. Mannu was still weak and needed some time to recover fully.
Aruna came to visit Mannu's home and meet his parents. She was pleased to see Mannu looking better and was happy to hear that he was on the road to recovery. She sat down with Somesh and Komal and talked to them about their lives and their struggles.
"I'm so glad that Mannu is doing better now," Aruna said. "I've been thinking about you all, and I wanted to check in on you."
Somesh and Komal thanked her again for her help and expressed their gratitude for everything she had done for their family.
"We never would have been able to afford the surgery without your help," Komal said. "You've truly been a godsend to us."
Aruna smiled at them and said, "I'm just happy to have been able to help. It's important to look out for one another, especially during difficult times."
Somesh nodded in agreement. "We've learned that the hard way," he said. "But your kindness has given us hope and faith in humanity again."
Aruna listened to their words and nodded in understanding. "I'm glad to have been able to make a difference," she said. "And I hope that Mannu continues to get better and lead a healthy life."
Mannu, who had been listening to the conversation from the next room, slowly walked in with a smile on his face. "Thank you, Aruna aunty," he said. "You're my Angel."
Aruna's eyes filled with tears as she hugged Mannu. "You're a brave boy, Mannu," she said. "And I'm happy to have been able to help you."
Aruna not only helped with Mannu's surgery expenses but also provided financial assistance to Somesh and Komal to improve their living conditions. With her aid, they were able to renovate their small house, buy new furniture and appliances, and even start a small grocery store in their neighborhood. Their lives had improved significantly, and they no longer had to worry about basic necessities.
Somesh and Komal were overwhelmed with gratitude towards Aruna. They couldn't thank her enough for her kindness and generosity.
"You've given us a new lease on life," Somesh said. "We were struggling to make ends meet, but your help has changed everything for us."
Komal added, "We are no longer living in fear of the future. Your support has given us hope and a chance to improve our lives."
Aruna smiled at them and said, "I'm happy to see you both living with dignity and respect. You deserve it."
Somesh and Komal continued to work hard and manage their small business with the aim of making it grow. They wanted to repay Aruna's kindness by being self-sufficient and independent.
Years later, when Mannu had grown up and started his own family, he made it a point to tell his children about Aruna's generosity and kindness. He knew that it was her help that had made it possible for him to have a healthy life and a bright future.

Somesh and Komal remained grateful to Aruna for the rest of their lives. They often spoke about her as an Angel who had come into their lives during their darkest hour and had made everything right again. They knew that they would never forget her and that her kindness would remain with them forever.
