The Ice Slick: An Apology

Mother Nature Speaks (A Drabble)!

Dear Montréal,

Well, this has been a fun two days.

Ha, ha.

Sorry, I am not well-known for my sense of humour. Often I have been told that I should mind my own business and know my place. Offensive, yes, but I can understand the sentiment. But I needed to vent a little before the season was over. I often feel that you do not appreciate what I give you every summer, and that winter is the price you gotta pay.

Seriously, maybe be a little more considerate.

And lay off all of that salt. It's a mess.

M. N.

Haha so cute - Mother Nature lets us know. I wish they would use something other than salt🧐

I did not know Canada has that worries. I am glad they are telling their businesses to keep their employees home when it is unsafe. Great awareness story!

I grew up in MN, so I'm practically Canadian! 😁🙄 Actually, I do have Canadian relatives. So happy to be in Arizona though. This was fun! 💙

    Cute stuff Kendall!

  • That's a Canadian problem. Made me smile

  • Montreal always has a mushy, blecky spring. I spent many a fun weekend there however when I lived in Vermont. Using French I asked some snarky expletive woman where there was a toilet for my then 3 year old and she said in French, "je parle francais". It was pouring cold rain and I got really mad and said something I shouldn't have.

  • she (mother nature) is a little bi-polar. I'm sorry, it had to be said

Damn! Quite a storm... It hit here in Ohio but thankfully all rain. Those were some monster trees that came down.
