The Holy American Empire

Chapter VI: Sermon to the World

By Logan M. SnyderPublished 3 months ago 3 min read

The chamber of the United Nations stood silent. Delegates from every corner of the globe filled the room, their expressions taut with unease. The air itself seemed to bend under the weight of anticipation. At the center, under the seal of the world, the man who had shattered it rose from his chair.

Kane stepped toward the podium with calm, deliberate grace. His black coat bore the insignia of the Empire — a single golden cross wreathed in laurel. He paused, letting the murmurs fade into a suffocating quiet. Behind him, the flags of the nations swayed faintly in the artificial breeze of the hall’s ventilation, a sea of color trembling before the storm.

He looked across the assembly — men and women who had condemned him, sanctioned him, feared him. And yet, here they were, on his soil, at his invitation.

Then, with a voice steady and absolute, he began:

“I invited you here today, to my home, to bear witness to what is to come… and to understand that I was anointed by God to restore not only peace and order but devotion to His holy name.”

The words struck the room like thunder.

“For years, Mexico has been nothing but smuggling drugs and people through the United States’ southern border. Many of you questioned our holy action — but in just two weeks’ time, we ended all crossings and began projects to improve the lives of those who chose to stay and join the Empire. They no longer live under the banner of corruption. They live under the light of the Almighty.”

He raised his hand toward the screen behind him, where images of reconstruction flashed — paved roads, factories humming with new automation, children in uniform saluting the flag.

“The land you once called Mexico is no more. From its ashes, New Canaan rises — a land reborn in faith and discipline. Its heart, Phoenix City, stands as proof that the Empire does not conquer to destroy, but to resurrect.”

A murmur spread through the chamber. Kane’s tone deepened, gathering force.

“Our mission is divine. Our purpose undeniable. And our faith unshakable. The time has come to bring devotion back to the world. For too long, mankind has worshipped wealth, pride, and false idols of democracy. But I tell you now — the Almighty has chosen me to correct this. To bring holy fire to the godless, and light to the nations that wander in darkness.”

He leaned forward, eyes narrowing on the representatives before him.

“You will call me a tyrant. You will say I am a madman. But history will remember me as the one who obeyed when God called. This Empire will not rest until every border that divides His children is erased — and every knee bows not to man, but to Heaven.”

He stepped back from the podium. For a long moment, no one dared to move. The speech ended, but the silence screamed.

Imperial News Network – Live Broadcast

The camera flickered to life, revealing the glowing façade of the United Nations building in New York City. Thousands of citizens crowded the streets, waving golden banners emblazoned with the Imperial cross. Their chants rolled like thunder through the avenues.

“Good evening, citizens of the Holy American Empire!” the reporter’s voice rang with bright fervor. “What a day this has been! Our beloved Emperor Kane has once again made history — declaring to the world that the age of division is over. Outside these very walls, the faithful gather in joy, celebrating the dawn of a new era under God’s chosen leader!”

She smiled wide, the camera catching the shimmer of flags and candlelight reflecting in her eyes. “As reconstruction continues in New Canaan and its shining heart, Phoenix City, the world watches in awe — and in fear — of the holy mission that began right here, on sacred American soil. This is INN, where truth and faith march together. And tonight… the world belongs to God again.”
