I woke up from that and I’m in me again, now I understand some more.

“Sammael, are you an angel?” He smiled again and looked to the sky.

“No, I’m something else. But for your information, heaven and hell are not what people think it is.”

“Hmm. Who is John?” He opened his eyes and looked at me with pity.

“John is complicated. He is no one and everyone you want”

“What do you mean?”

“Look over there” he pointed to the entrance of the medical center.

“What am I looking at?” There were some armed men and one of them looked familiar, it was John. How can that be? I went to where he was and talked to him.

“John, what are you doing here? I thought you were looking for your family.”

“Hey Marduk, I told you I’m going to do it once this is over. I thought it was but it is not.” I looked at Sammael and he signaled me to go back to him. But wait, this is wrong, I’m Bansao now and he called me Marduk, I went back to ask him again but Sammael called me I went to him and I asked him;

“What is going on? He sees me and he sees Marduk not Bansao.”

“John is a memory in your subconscious, someone you care about a lot from another place. You lost him and is very hard for you to deal with it, so you project John on anyone whenever you feel the need.”

“Am I the only one who see it then? What about the conversations? Do people think I’m crazy?”

“Your mind is very powerful and once you project John on someone, he becomes John and everyone around sees John from then on. Sorry, we have to continue this conversation later, you have a mission you can’t miss. It’s very crucial for you.”

My mind is a fucking mess right now, I don’t know if it is better to know or not to know all this. The last few weeks I was staying at the small building they use as a church, were our monks live. I was staying there learning from them and leaning their lifestyles, because for my next mission I need to go to an enemy village undercover disguised as a monk. We have been trying to infiltrate it but they still have too many powerful weapons and the only way to enter is infiltrate the monks from that village while they are making their praying walks outside the village.

Most of the monks there became monks due to a past trauma, some of them only want peace, like Job. Job became a monk after his village was raided and destroyed while he was away hunting. They killed everyone, all his people including his family, he kept wondering around aimlessly until he found Marcus town, then he became a monk and found peace. Peace . . . I wonder what that is like, I could take a break from all this crap.

I went close to the village waiting for the monks to pass so I could take one out and infiltrate, I’m fast enough to do that without getting noticed. I was hiding behind some bushes when I was hit really hard in the back of my head, I was bleeding and I was losing too much blood then I lost consciousness.

I remember it all, my village the destruction my family, then I woke up, but where am I? I woke up tied up to the bed in a room with my robe on. There is and armed guard on the door and as soon as I stood up he started calling someone. Some more men entered the room with a big and tall strong guy, he is the leader and his name is Joseph. He looked at me and said to me “I finally caught up with you Bansao”

“Bansao, who is Bansao? My name is Job.”

“Don’t play games with me Bansao”

“What are you talking about? I am a monk of the church.”

“Ok I’ll bite. . .talk.”
