Revenge at the click of the lock.

The Heist of His Century

It proved all too easy.
Not that the planning was easy. Oh no, that took months of meticulous preparation to reach this moment. Granted, it took longer than it should have, but recovering from being beaten by a drug-crazed lunatic husband cost me some time.
Known as a genius in the software security industry, he had hired me as his chief programmer, then tossed aside his family to marry me. I thought I was in love. I was wrong.
Revenge is best served when least expected, and my computer skills were equal to his. I chose my moment to pull off the heist of his century.
I dropped a sedative in his Scotch, hacked the security system, and accessed the safe software. The safe door hissed open. I removed a half-million dollars in cash, a bag of uncut diamonds, and his most prized possession, his little black book—only this book held information regarding the money laundering network he operated. Then I hacked his secret bank accounts and transferred the funds into my Swiss accounts.
He would wake up to find my note. I have the accounts book, and I’ll use it if you try to find me.
I win.
