The Girl in Black

You're mine now

By Myles Published 3 years ago 3 min read
Be aware of the girl in black, she might get you next!

There was a legend that had been passed down for generations in the small town of Millfield. It was said that on the night of the full moon, a girl in black would appear, wandering through the streets, looking for her next victim. No one knew where she came from or why she was there, but everyone knew that if you saw her, you were as good as dead.

Katie had heard the legend before, but she had never believed it. She was a practical girl, not one to be swayed by superstition. But on the night of the full moon, something strange happened. She was walking home from a friend's house when she saw a figure in the distance. It was a girl, dressed in black, walking slowly towards her.

Katie's heart raced as the girl got closer. She couldn't see her face, but she could feel her eyes on her, watching her every move. Katie tried to pick up her pace, but her legs felt heavy, like they were stuck in quicksand.

As the girl in black got closer, Katie could see that she was pale and thin, with long dark hair that hung in tangled knots. She was wearing a black dress that was torn and stained with dirt. Her eyes were dark and lifeless, like she had been dead for years.

Katie wanted to turn and run, but something held her back. She was frozen in place, unable to move or speak. The girl in black stopped in front of her, and for a moment, they just stared at each other.

And then, the girl in black reached out and touched Katie's arm. It was like an electric shock, and Katie felt a surge of fear run through her body. She tried to pull away, but the girl's grip was too strong.

And then, the girl in black spoke. Her voice was low and hoarse, like she hadn't spoken in years. "You're the one," she said, her eyes boring into Katie's. "You're the one I've been looking for."

Katie tried to back away, but the girl in black held her tight. "Please, let me go," she whispered, her voice shaking.

But the girl in black just laughed. It was a cold, mirthless laugh that made Katie's blood run cold. "Let you go?" she said. "Oh, I don't think so. You're mine now."

Katie tried to scream, but the girl in black covered her mouth with her hand. "Shhh," she said. "No one can hear you now."

And then, the girl in black began to change. Her skin turned gray, and her eyes grew red. Her teeth grew into long, sharp fangs, and her nails turned into claws.

Katie tried to fight back, but it was no use. The girl in black was too strong. She dragged Katie into the woods, where no one would hear her screams.

And then, everything went black. When Katie woke up, she was lying on the ground, covered in dirt and leaves. She had no memory of what had happened, but she knew that something terrible had occurred.

From that day on, Katie was never the same. She was haunted by nightmares of the girl in black, and she could feel her presence everywhere she went. She became withdrawn and paranoid, always looking over her shoulder, always afraid that the girl in black would come back for her.

And then, one night, she saw her again. The girl in black was standing in the doorway of her bedroom, watching her with those dark, lifeless eyes. Katie tried to scream, but no sound came out.

And then, the girl in black spoke. "I'm back," she said, her voice low and menacing. "And this time, you won't get away."

Katie tried to run, but the girl in black was too fast. She grabbed Katie by the arm and dragged her out of the house, into the darkness.

No one ever saw Katie again. Some say that she was taken by the girl in black, and others say that she simply disappeared into the night. But one thing was for sure: the legend of the girl in black lived on, and the people of Millfield would always remember the terror that she brought with her.
