The Earth Reshapes Into a Familiar Beast
Everyday Unseen Trials
I saw a lamb, small, bleating, and scared. It is lost in the spaces between grass and sky where the trees spiral from the earth, throwing their limbs in twisting calamity.
Another lamb, greying in the white wool, answers the call and thunders around mossy stone walls and creaking wooden gates. A stranger from another world separated by piled pressed slates.
The new lamb bleats in surety to soothe the smaller. He arrives alongside them, guiding and comforting. The earth reshapes into a familiar beast.
I am reminded of the universal responsibility to protect those you can.
