The Day the Sun Crowned the Third Pyramid
It looks so beautiful.

The Day the Sun Crowned the Third Pyramid
The desert was still, the kind of still that pressed against the ears and made every heartbeat loud. I had arrived hours before dawn, walking over sand that had carried footsteps older than memory. The pyramids loomed, dark and patient, watching the night fold into itself.
Then the horizon began to stir. First a pale line, then a glow, and at last the sun itself lifted slowly, perfectly aligned with the tip of the third pyramid. Around it bloomed a halo of fire, a ring so pure it seemed impossible, a circle drawn by some unseen hand. I froze, and the world froze with me.
For a moment, there was no time. No centuries of kings or slaves, no tourists with their cameras, no voices — only the light, the sand, and the pyramids, breathing together under a sky that seemed to hold its breath. I felt small, impossibly small, and yet connected to everything that had ever been.
The halo shimmered, shifting as the sun climbed, and I understood something I could not name. History was not just in books or tombs — it was here, in a perfect alignment, in the way light could touch stone and turn it sacred.
I stayed until the circle faded, until the sun rose high enough to claim the sky as ordinary once more. But the memory remained, burning quietly in my chest, a reminder that some mornings are too extraordinary to ever forget.
I left the desert with sand in my shoes and awe in my veins, knowing I had witnessed a rare moment the world might never see again, and yet I would carry it forever. Please show your support if you liked my short story. Like and comment❤️ please.

This is quite inspirational, and I felt the quiet and the heat of the sun.
