"The Cursed House"

Jessica and David, who were familiar from the past and connected to a previous incident:

Jessica had known David since their high school years. Both of them had grown up in the same town and become close friends. However, during a summer vacation, David had moved away from the town and they had lost touch with each other. Jessica hadn't heard from him since then.

Since that time, Jessica had moved to a remote mountain house to continue her life. The house had been abandoned after a series of mysterious disappearances in the town. Jessica found solace and sought tranquility in this house, trying to confront her past.

On a cold and gloomy winter night, Jessica sat alone in her house when, unexpectedly, a car stopped in front of her door. The headlights briefly illuminated the interior of her house. Jessica peered out of the window with curiosity and noticed that it was David inside the car.

Jessica (astonished): "David? Is that you?"

David, with his face hidden under a hat, started walking towards the door. Overwhelmed with surprise and joy, Jessica opened the door. She couldn't hide her happiness at being reunited. But at the same time, she wondered why David was trying to hide his face with a hat.

As he entered the house, David scanned his surroundings cautiously. There was fear and urgency in his eyes, as if he was running away from something. Jessica's curiosity grew stronger as she tried to understand what this mysterious traveler had brought with him and why he was so frightened.

David spoke with a trembling voice, "I'm sorry, I'm in a desperate situation. I need your help." Jessica, still full of curiosity, invited him inside.

As he stepped inside, David continued to look around vigilantly. He was filled with panic, as if being chased by something. Inside Jessica, a sense of intrigue arose, wondering what this mysterious traveler had brought and why he was so afraid.

David began to explain how he had been the last person to see a group of friends who had gone missing. While trying to track them down, he had lost his way and now felt that someone or something was after him. He pleaded, "Please, protect me from something terrifying. Help me!"

They ran for their lives, racing through corridors, up and down stairs, and into various rooms. The creature was relentless, closing in on them with each step. But somehow, they mustered every ounce of strength to stay alive.

Finally, they found refuge in a bedroom. As they closed the door, the creature's claws scraped against it, and it let out a deep growl. Jessica turned to David, desperately seeking answers.

David spoke breathlessly, "This creature... It is the result of a dark incident that occurred in this house. We are the victims of a cursed past. A family that once lived here succumbed to dark forces and tragically lost their lives. This creature emerged as a part of the curse and still roams this place."

Jessica's shock and fear intensified. David's words aligned with her own family's history, as her mother had mentioned a dark incident in the past of this very house. Yes, everything was coming together now. The pieces of the puzzle were falling into place.

David placed his hands on Jessica's, looking into her eyes earnestly. "Jessica, this is your family's old house. I have been searching for you for years. I want to help you end this horrifying curse. Your family's spirits deserve peace."

Jessica stared at David with a mix of astonishment and determination. Everything was starting to make sense. David had spent years investigating her family's disappearance and had returned to help her. The fear inside her transformed into resolve. It was time to conquer her fears and save her family's spirits.
