The Clever Student and the Surprised Teacher
A funny yet wise story about intelligence, quick thinking, and the art of witty answers.

One day, a student approached his teacher after class and said,
> “Ma’am, I believe I’m very intelligent and capable. I’d like to move up to a higher grade. Could you please test me to see if I deserve it?”
The teacher smiled and agreed. She took him to the principal’s office.
The principal decided to test the boy’s knowledge.
Principal: “What is 3 × 4?”
Student: “12.”
Principal: “What’s the capital of Japan?”
Student: “Tokyo.”
After several questions, the principal was amazed — the boy answered every single one correctly.
The principal turned to the teacher and said,
> “He’s quite smart. Do you want to test him yourself?”
The teacher grinned mischievously and said,
> “Alright, I’ll ask a few creative questions.”
She began with a playful tone:
Teacher: “What has four legs on a cow but only two on me?”
Student: “Legs.”
The principal chuckled.
The teacher continued,
Teacher: “What do you have in your pocket that I don’t?”
Student: “Money.”
Everyone laughed softly.
Then she asked,
Teacher: “What is something soft in a woman’s hand that sometimes becomes hard?”
Student: “A pen.”
The principal burst into laughter, realizing the boy’s cleverness.
Finally, the teacher said,
> “Enough. This boy isn’t just smart — he’s brilliant and witty!”
The principal nodded with a smile and said,
> “Son, you can go straight to university. I think I need to go back to elementary school!” 😂
Moral of the Story:
Being intelligent isn’t only about what you know — it’s also about how you think.
Quick wit, confidence, and a calm mind are true signs of genius.
