The Boy, the King, and the Spoon of Oil
Balance life with care and wonder.

A little boy wanted to find out what his life was all about. He went to ask an old king who was supposed to have the answer to every question.
It was quite a day at the palace. The boy then asked the king, and on his question, the king handed over to the boy a small spoonful of oil. "This is a mighty big palace," he said. Take a stroll around the palace without the oil spilling from this spoon. Then I shall tell you what asked you."
Then the boy took the spoon and went round the palace very careful not to spill a drop of oil from the spoon and returned to the king.
"Very good. (Refer to scenes of the palace when you visited it and saw the lovely murals, the inner courtyard, the flower gardens.')
''No, my king, I only wanted to clean the oil in the spoon. I didn't see anything. I didn't even notice it."
The king gazed for some time on the boy, and at last he spoke.
"Kids, life is like this oil don't spill it, but be sure to enjoy what's around you. ''Really, children, the meaning of this life is to enjoy the beauty of the world around us while taking care not to spill the oil in our hand's… If we only think about the oil, we will not be able to enjoy the beautiful things around us. If instead we are only obsessed with enjoying beautiful things, while that oil is in our hand, it will spill and be lost.''
